I once wondered what it was like to meet someone I didn't need to try to speak to
Someone that would never cut the definition of enjoyable, short
I once thought there wasn't a person I can talk to without that odd uncomfortable pause of silence
No one in the whole world that I could talk to without writing down topics on a notepad just to come up with things to talk about
No one that I could ever talk to for days on end for over an hour
Over a decade of wanting to meet someone that could be just that
Now I don't have to wonder anymore
It's been a month and a half without ever stopping to think about that imaginary person
The only one I can give so many adjectives to describe like lovely, sweet, and charming
Only one that can fall nothing short of the words "absolutely and positively amazing"
One person that can only do so much to encourage me to write thoughts down on paper
There's nobody in this world that can ever leave me so dumbfounded as to why hours slip past my fingers like water down a stream
I've been dreaming alone for years now
There's mountains, valleys, and meadows full of so much thick and luscious green, overflown with flowers and trees
From the willow tree with the thickest trunk down to the tiny little daisies that grow in patches in the meadow
Only one person stood in the middle of all that until you appeared one day
No one that gave you an invitation to join other than my open arms to catch you only asking that you don't crush that happy place
Never anymore happier to share the little things with someone so kind
Never anymore excited to want to keep sharing random moments like this with you
