Jason, Thalia, Nico, and I had to survive on our own in the wilderness. We had no family to go back to since Jason, Nico, and Thalia's parents were gone. And I didn't want to endanger my mom and Paul. Most of the gods had betrayed all of us, too.

~Flashback~

We were all exhausted and tired. We had just killed a small army of monsters. We had deep bruises on our knees from the fight. We grabbed our last bag of ambrosia and canteen of nectar but there was only a small portion. We all shared it, but it wasn't enough. We decided to make do and built a small campsite. We used the logs as seats and sat around the campfire.

"Are you sure you want to stay with me? You could go back to camp and have a much better life than this." I pointed to the tents and the woods.

"Are you kidding me? You're our friend. We would never leave you. That and the fact that Kurt is a big phony. I never want to see his face again." said Jason.

"You guys are the best friends anyone could ever have." added Thalia.

"Thanks, Pinecone Face." said Nico. Thalia playfully punched him. We kept joking around like that until the light appeared. Suddenly we were in the throne room of Olympus. We were smiling big smiles even though we were wounded and looked disgusting. We hadn't yet realized that we had teleported from the woods to the Empire State Building.

That was when we saw the gods. They all looked grim, but some of them looked disappointed and sad. We limped slowly to the thrones afraid that we would make a wrong move. Our smiles were gone. We knelt in front of the thrones, but the knees weren't fully healed. We winced from the excruciating pain. Apollo saw our bruises and gasped. He healed them slowly, afraid that Zeus might realize that he was helping us.

"Stand up," boomed Zeus. We stood up quietly.

"We have all watched you four very carefully and decided that you are too powerful for your own good.We will vote and see if it is safe to keep you alive or dead."

"Vote if you want them alive." Strangely, Hestia, Hades, Artemis, and Apollo had raised their hands. I could tell Hermes wanted to raise his hand, but Zeus's murderous glares changed his mind. He gave us an apologetic look. The rest had their hands raised, including my own father.

"I'm sorry Thalia and Jason. You four are just too powerful." Zeus said to his children. He even had the nerve to nervously smile at them. Silence filled the air. I heard quiet sniffling sounds come from Thalia. Then, she had a loud outburst.

"I HATE YOU! I thought you were my dad! Turns out, I was wrong." Glistening tears filled her eyes. There was still silence. A single tear escaped her eye and dropped to the floor.

"Since you seem to think that I should die, I think I won't be your daughter anymore. I'm disowning you as my father." said Thalia. She furiously rubbed her eyes, wiping the tears away.

The guys were furious. Thalia was like our sister. "I disown you as my father." said Jason and me. Nico wasn't mad at his father since he didn't feel like Hades did anything wrong.

She made eye contact with me, Jason, and Nico. We made a silent discussion. Then we all clapped our hands. Lightning filled the air. Skeletons grew out of the floor. And as for me, a giant wall of water appeared and doused the gods. Not wasting another second, we ran. The last things we heard were Zeus yelling to Artemis, commanding her to get the Hunters of Artemis to chase us.

~Flashback over~

That was also the fateful day we met Chaos, the creator of the universe.
