The day awoke with a bright sun glaring through the window at me. I just wanted to sleep, but I couldn't. I had to get on with my supply run of the week.
I headed out of the station and into the town on my dad's old bike, with a small switchblade and the golden revolver. I rode out to find food, and within minutes i realised we were out on Kirkby, so I roamed around until I came across a small farm. Luckily it was untouched by war. And full of food. I grabbed as much as I could and drove back, looking at the only world I knew. I looked down at the bike to see two letters. 'W' and 'S'. After the sentimental moment was finished, I cruised at a beautiful 70 mph along the road letting the engine roar with excitement. I felt my face deform as I began to slow down as I pulled into the station driveway.
"Guys. I'm back!" I called. There was no answer. "Guys?!" Asleep. Wrong.
Mia lay on the floor in the main room, next to the bloodied up statue and a bloody Lucille. I screamed as loud as I did and ran in for Connor. It was worse. His face had been half blown off by a bullet, but Jasi had slowed the bleeding. I ran to Mia and cradled her in my arms while tears ran down my cold face.
"Mia... MiMi please wake up." I sobbed. "Mia?" But she breathed no longer. "Mia..." I must have sat there for days, because Jasi took her off of me to be buried with dad. And Connor sat next to me.
