It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents, rattling along the house-tops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness. I moved the swivel chair and heaved a deep breath while looking at the window pane as raindrops follow the path of the other. Looking at it was relaxing, especially when you were a goddamn workaholic and just can't get enough of your paperworks. Those raindrops dancing in the glass of my window reminds me of him. That stubborn child. How I wish we could just be raindrops and play come and get me type of game freely.

I hardly let out a plain laugh, "Impossible."

"What's on your mind, My Lord?" Melchom interfere in the middle of my thoughts. I gave him a quick glance as I pulled my tie to loose and get my ass back to my paperworks.

"It's nothing." I mumble. He remain silent after that.

Melchom is a demon from underworld. He was also known as the demon who carries the purse, Duke of hell and profit. He was the paymaster of civil servants of hell. One of the most witty, corrupted, and unlawful devils underworld. And lucky him, I can summon him and made him my right hand servant.

Underworld, Melchom can summon various number of demons as well and they followed him as much as he follows me when he is the one being summoned, that's part of his special ability. And unlike underworld, when he was summoned by me, he cannot call any other demons to serve him too. That's one of the reason why I chose him. He was the one who managed the income, the investments, the marketing and all things related to money. Besides, it's his expertise.

I was in the middle of my exhausting works of signing and creating visuals when someone knocks behind the door of my office. "Mr. Aguilus...!" I can recognize the voice. It was Kana Gabriel, my executive secretary. It would be a cumbersome if i didn't get one and introduced a clever demon secretary to everyone. They'll sure freak out.

"Melchom. Get lost!" I commanded him. He smiled more like a grin as he bows down gesturing his booklet on his hand. Then he disappeared. Just like that. You don't have any idea how arduous it is to summon him and everyone else of his kind, but hell of it, they can just recede from view with just using the 'get lost' type of word.

"Come in, Kana." I let out a deep sigh first before acting like I have been alone here since I ever entered this damn company. She's in a rush. Looking haggard and can hardly gasp for breath cause of exhaustion. What's the matter this time? "Mr. Aguilus....Your brother is making a scene downstair!" She said with a hoarse voice. Did she just scream from the lung for long period of time?

I want to exaggerate my reaction but this hot-and-cold-Mr.Aguilus image don't suit that reaction. I gave her a cold stare. "H-he persisted to cross the threshold to c-confront you, Sir." She's trembling. Am i that scary? I didn't mean to frightened her at the first place and besides, I didn't asked her to explain any further.

"Let him in." I said coolly. She bowed her head as a respect before leaving the room.

I wonder what was Jericho's purpose of coming out of a sudden?

I didn't bother to fix myself at all, since it was just Jericho and not an important investor to entertain. As soon as he entered the office, he slammed the door using his foot backward. 'impudent'. His ranging in anger, I can see a red soaking wet bull with his nose and ear fuming in dislike, preparing to attack at any moment. "How you doin', brother?" I greeted him, breaking the moment silence between the two of us.

"How could you do that, Judar??!" he exclaimed. Raising his voice with his index finger pointing at me. Seems like he mistook my generosity, how sad.

"Eh? What did I do?" I said trying to play innocent. Although, I already sense what this fuss is all about. "Have you gathered strong evidence against me that could prove your claim?" I gave him a teasing smile, waiting for him to retaliate.

"What?" He sounds like I said something unbelievable. "Hah..! You're unbelievable!" he followed. I told you so.

I kicked the table against the direction causing my chair to move in the opposite way. I just want to make things clear for him and...irritate him a little more. "Don't you know that I could file case against you. Perjury, lying under oath, libel and peddling of lies."

"You pulled out my allowance, demolished my apartment, and you paid those thugs to flogged, Denver!! Are you even human?? You're such a shame, Judar!!!" he said those slapping it in my face like as if he was that positive that I did those without a doubt.

I smirked towards him. "I'm guilty." I said trying to push his patience up its limit. He's annoyed now, uh oh!.

"You..Fucktard!"

My smirking face eventually turned into a serious one. "Have you ever realize why I did those?" He didn't make any response. He remains standing on where he is settled while creasing his forehead, waiting for me to answer my own question and continue. "I want you to live with me--"

"I'm not living with a selfish demon." he muttered.

"Shut up, when I'm talking, Jericho!" I shouted with my eyes glaring at him. He shutted.

'I'm sorry, but you need to hear me out, brother. You need to understand my side. I need you to open your mind and listen. please, jericho.'

"I know how weak you are. You can't even summon demons other than Marchosias."

"Are you insulting me?"He asked firmly. Totally annoyed.

I smiled then continue."Live with me, and I'll teach you how to summon other demons. I'll show you the beauty of hell and introduce to you my demons. Think of it." I said. I was supposed to be persuading him and do what our deceased father told me to do so. 'Come back home, jericho.'

I waited for his response. But hell of it, how long would it takes him to think of that goddamn answer? Can't he just say yes?

"What do you want?" A huge smile covered my face as soon as I heard those words. That simply means, he's double thinking and with my conditions in exchange to that -of course it's not free, Jericho know me so well-. The conditions should be mutualism. We, should be benefiting from each other.

I stood up and fixed my files. "First.."

"Mr. Aguilus!" It's Kana again. She just interrupted my excitement. She caught Jericho's as well. "M-my apology Sir, but it's urgent." she bowed her head again. I must have dropped my eyes if i could just roll it 360 degrees.

"Make sure that urgent thingy is worth meeting! or else...." I gave her death glare.

I can feel his trembling knees. "S-sir..?"

"I'll send to the deepest pit of hell!" My threatening look should have bothered her. "Jericho, We'll continue this tomorrow." I said.

I fixed my tie and get my coat at the coat rack before leaving him in that room. I'll do everything just to fulfill father's will.
