"Come on, Armin! We're going to be late for work!" The worried Eren yelled to his rushed roommate. "I'm almost ready! Just give me a minute." The blond wished for more time. "You know, we wouldn't be having this problem if you would've woken up earlier, Armin. What's with you lately? You're usually not like this." "I've been having to stay up to study for my college exams." "Well, just come on. We need to leave now." "Coming, Eren." The young men left their shared apartment to go to work at their usual: Moonbucks Coffee Shop.
The said lengthy-haired blond, Armin Arlert, was still in college, only a few years younger than Eren. The brunet, Eren Jaeger, was Armin's best friend. They've been inseparable since the third grade.
"You guys are late. Again. I can't keep covering for you two like this" Mikasa said, irritated. The raven haired female was Mikasa Ackerman. She's friends with both, Eren and Armin. The three were the best of friends, peas in a pod. They were always hanging out, always doing things for each other.
"Yeah, I know. Sorry, Mikasa. Armin and I should probably wake up earlier." Eren obviously signaling to the blond, nudging him in his arm. "Ow! Armin yelped a bit. "That hurt, you know! It's not my fault my professor gives me a lot of work." Armin was probably the smartest person the two have met, especially him being only 23 at age. "You're the one who chose the classes. You should know better." Mikasa argued in a blunt sort of tone. Eren decided to step into the conversation. "Yeah. You're the one that chose the most difficult classes." "Okay, fine. But we should really get to work, before we get in trouble with Kieth. You know how strict he his." The three finally started working, cringing at the fact of how much their boss would yell at them if they got into trouble.
