Besides that: I hope you will enjoy my little one-shot!

Once upon a time there lived a princess in a big castle. She lived with her father since her mother died giving birth. The problem was that Princess' father ignored her and blamed her for her mother's death. Then one day when she was 17, she had been locked in her tower for years and yearned for freedom. Even if just for one day.

She ran away. Away from the tower, the responsibilities, the man she called her father, from everything.

She ran and ran and ran. When she stopped and looked where she was, she was in a forest.. But what forest? How far into the forest? While she was thinking she heard a mighty roar. A dragon's roar. She panicked and tried to think of a way to get away. Then Princess heard wings flapping and hid in a bush. She hoped to not be noticed. Then came a big bump. 'The dragon must have landed' she thought. Then the dragon spoke: "I can smell you human, come out. I will not hurt you." Princess slowly, step by step, walked out of her hiding spot. 'Why am I doing this? It could kill me' But she kept walking. Trusting what the dragon said about not hurting her.

"I-I-I'm s-sorry for walking o-onto y-your land.. I-I-I just g-got l-lost" Princess stuttered, scared. The dragon looked at her and tilted his big head, looking somewhat adorable. Then Princess heard a deep voice say: "Hi human! I'm Dragon! What's your name?" Princess was confused for a second, then relieved. Dragon wasn't going to kill her. "H-hi. I-I'm Princess. It's n-nice to m-meet you Dragon."

Dragon looked at her. "Princess? What are you doing so far away from home?" He kindly asked. Princess got tears in her eyes as he asked. "O-oi! Why are you crying?" Dragon panicked.

"I-I'm sorry! It's just...." She told everything to Dragon. All from how her mother died at birth, her father neglected her, to when she ran away. When she was done Dragon was mad. 'How could anyone do that to a child?!' He thought. "Well.. You ran away to leave it all behind, right?" Princess nodded. "You can come with me then.. If you want to..?" Dragon said nervously, scratching his neck. "If it wouldn't be any trouble.. But can I visit my father before we go? I have to tell him that he doesn't own me. And get my stuff.? But after that, do you promise many adventures?" Princess asked. "Of course!" Dragon promised happily.

Dragon turned around and put his tail in front of Princess. She looked at him confused. "Hop on" Dragon said like it was the most normal thing. She slowly walked up and sat on his head. "Where to Princess?" He asked. "Head North!" She commanded. Dragon chuckled and did what she said.

When they arrived at the castle Princess hopped off. "You will have to find cover. Dragon's are hunted creatures here." She said. Dragon just smirked, then started glowing. After the light died down there stood a man. He looked to be the same age as Princess. She jumped back "W-Who are you?!" She yelled. "Dragon" Was his simple answer.

Princess opened her mouth to speak but closed it again and just shook her head. "Come with me" She said. He followed her to the throne room where the King should be. They walked in together and got the King's attention. "Princess! Where have you been?! You are not allowed outside of your tower, you know that!" He roared, mad. Dragon was about to tell him not to talk to Princess like that. But Princess put a hand on his chest shook her head at him. He growled but stood back.

"Father. I am leaving. I am going with Dragon. You cannot control me. I am not an item. I am a human with my own will. This is goodbye... Goodbye Daddy" Princess said sadly, a lone tear escaping her eye. She took Dragon's hand and walked out of the room. She could hear her father yelling at her. 'I will never be free. He will always get me' she thought.

Dragon just watched Princess fall apart. When it got too much he took her into his arms and just held her. Let her cry. When she stopped she looked up at him with so sad eyes. "Can we go? I don't want to be here anymore" She quietly said. "Of course. Whatever you want." He said.
