"Lyric and Nigel stop" I told my twins.
They kept trying to get on the bed to wake Brandon up but they kept falling
"I want dada" Lyric stomped her foot pouting
"Well your dad's sleep" I told her going back to doing my makeup
"What's going?" Brandon said as he woke up
"Your kids want you"
He moved to the other side of the bed looking down seeing Nigel and Lyric holding their arms up for him
"Come on kiddos" He picked them up putting them on the bed and turning the tv on for them "Where you going?"
"It's the 20th Brandon" I turned to look at him
"Okay and what's going on today?" He gave me a confused look
"Royalty and Loyalty have court"
"Oh shit that's today"
"Duh nigga"
"Aye don't get smart"
I laughed shaking my head turning away from him. This nigga stays forgetting shit.
"I'll go alone and you can stay with the kids" I said as I applied lip gloss to my lips
"Nah. I'm going. You know I ain't missing shit when it comes to my kids anymore" He said walking into the bathroom I'm guessing to shower
"Well hurry up we got an hour to get there" I yelled after him
"I got it" He yelled back
I finished up my make up making sure everything was good before I started cleaning up my mess.
"Mommy me hungry" I heard Lyric say
"Okay baby. Let mommy finish up here and we'll go get you something to eat"
I finished up just Brandon was walking out.
"So what's today's court hearing about?" He asked
"They basically are going to go over the evidence and see how the little girl is doing I guess. If the family wants to press charges then they can get booked for a year max" I said
About 5 months ago the twins got into an altercation with another female. The girl thought she could run up on Royalty with a knife and shit was going to be sweet but of course my daughters ain't going.
Loyalty saw and ran up and the two jumped her beating her unconscious. They got arrested but I didn't find out about any of it until two days ago so I couldn't do much. Especially since the girls parents entered a witness protection program after Royalty threatened to kill them.
