Alaska's P.O.V

*New York*

I don't think there's been a day that I haven't been in the mood for working since I started this business and that,  my friends, lasted until today. Today everything has gone wrong, I'm missing Conor and I've got a headache that just won't go.

There's honestly nothing that would make me happier than seeing my boyfriend right now, because even though we facetime pretty much all the time is it not enough. I want to touch him, feel him, do everything with him and therefore I've decided to stay in the States when I'm done shooting.

I quite literally throw my belongings down in my suitcase and I don't give a fuck about it turning creasy or dirty, I'm pretty sure, the boys' house will have a washing machine and an iron anyway so why would I care.

The only thing that I make sure is packed well is my camera and you probably understand why.

Is it normal to just cancel a flight to go and surprise your boyfriend in a city all away in America, probably not but I just can't live one more day without him, let alone two whole weeks.

"The girl is in town! How you doing babe?"

I chuckle, closing the door to my friend Felicia's car as she starts driving off.

She'd been kind enough to pick me up from the airport and is letting me stay at hers for the night. Mainly because it's late and I'm too tired to go directly to the boys right now.

"Going good, a bit tired but that's how it is now, isn't it?"

I'd known Felicia for a bit over a year now yet I'd only ever met her either in New York or London, meaning this is my first proper time in LA since I don't even know how long.

"You still working your butt off?"

She winks, giving me a cheeky smile as she turns up the volume of the music.

"I guess but it's mostly brands now, I've branched out into that industry instead of doing the private shootings"

My phone vibrates in my hand and I look down to read the text that Jack had sent me.

JackibooCan you hurry up and get this over and done with, Conor hasn't said a word since we left London and it's starting to get a bit annoying now 😡

I chuckle, making Felicia turn to look at me a bit confused about what's actually going on.

"Conor's brother just texted me, telling me to hurry up"

Showing her the text do I let her read it and she just shakes her head, amused.

"I didn't know he had a brother"

I look at her surprised, even though I shouldn't be. Felicia has never met Conor and I've never told her anything about his family. From an outside perspective they could pretty much seem to be just friends.

"He's got a younger sister as well"

She nods, turning right in the next crossing and I focus on looking out through the window, the setting sun making the city extremely beautiful.

"You got the address to where they're staying?"

I look back at her, smiling as I spot the Hollywood sign and I'm tempted to make her stop the car so that I can get a picture. Yet my camera is in my bag and I'm not too keen on unpacking it right now. Plus we'll be here for two whole weeks, we'll certainly have enough time to get a pic of that infamous sign at some point this holiday.
