Being a senior is not easy.
I mean it, it sucks. Really.
My name is Claire and I am 17 years old. I am a senior at International High in Brazil.
Oh? Brazil? Full of beaches and monkeys and pretty women and samba and soccer?
YES, BRAZIL. But only read this story if you are willing to get rid of your stereotypical view of my country. Yes, we have all of those things. No, I never saw a monkey. No, I don't go to the beach everyday. Yes, I am a pretty girl. No, I don't like samba. Yes, I like soccer. But the answers to these question change from person to person, from city to city.
I live in Curitiba, so no, no beaches. Actually, I am not really into beach, and sea, and sand, but oh well, thank God, I live in Curitiba, the city in Brazil with the highest percentage of days with rain.
Really, we don't go a week without rain. It is really rare not to rain. REALLY. RARE.
Anyway. I study at an international school called International High in Brazil (IHB). It is a really good and expensive school where we speak in English rather than in Portuguese. Well, we have Portuguese class, and we all know how to speak in Portuguese very well, but there are many foreigners in our school.
Anyway, I have to go to Drama rehearsal right now, because oh well, the play is this Friday.
