"Let me have it," I argued.

"No, I said I wanted it first," Worick shot back at me.

"I was the one who ordered it!"

"No you didn't!"

"Let it go," I tugged on the glass.

"No, you let go," Worick kept his grip firm over the glass as well.

"Nic Nic!" I whined, gaining the attention of Nicolas as he sat beside me.

"Hmm?" He grumbled out, his eyes over my pouting lips.

"Tell Worick to let me have the drink," I frowned further.

"Nic, you can't just give it to her! I'm your man!"

We heard Nicolas sigh as he tapped both of our hands to let go of the glass. Soon enough, his hand was curled around the glass as he lifted it up and set it down before me.

I grinned, throwing my arms around him to pull him into a smiling kiss.

"That's not fair!" Worick cried out while he laid his head on the table. "It's bros befor-"

"You sure you want to finish that?" I narrowed my eyes at Worick and he pursed his lips.

I gulped the drink down fast in victory, leaning against Nicolas' shoulder with a content sigh.

"Fine, I'll get more ice cream!" Worick sat up in his seat abruptly to look at the menu's desserts again.

"I'm stuffed," I spoke up, patting my stomach lightly.

"I'm full too," Alex leaned back in her seat.

'You want something?' I signed to Nicolas who shook his head in reply.

"I want to get another milksh-"

'I want to take you with me,' Nicolas held onto my hand and my attention was cut off of Worick as I turned to Nicolas.

'Yeah, what's up?'

His arm curled around my back, swiftly standing me up with him and I leaned into his side.

'We're going for a walk.'

And with that, Nicolas excused us, walking me out of the restaurant and we stepped onto the cool sidewalk.

'There's this open field by the city park we can go to,' I suggested and he smiled at me, heading that way.

I held onto his hand tightly, intertwining our fingers while we walked under the peaceful night sky. There was a comfortable silence between us as we walked, reaching the park after a few minutes. We made our way to the flowery field.
