I was doning some musically before i headed to bed. i watched a couple I scrolled down and saw my old best friend Evan Huffered. he is very popular on musically. Thats why we are no longer friends. I walked up to my desk, plugged in my phone, played some music, and headed to bed. I had to deal with him for my last year of high school. I'm not the one who broke off the friendship. I supported him with everything he did. My mom and his keep in touch. that how I knew he was coming back.
"Drew?" My mom asked.
"I'm sleeping." I said.
"Well i just wanted to let you know a friend came over to see you." She said. I got out from under my covers and headed downstairs. It wasnt a friend, it was Evan.
"Hey, Mr. Popular." I said as I rolled my eyes and went to the kitchen.
"Drew, I'm sorry." He said.
"Sorry? What for?" I acted stupid.
"You know what." He said seeing right through me.
"What ever do you mean?" I asked.
"For Hurting you." He said. "I never ment to. i just didnt want you to be caught in the drama. I know how much you hate it." He said.
"Hurt me? You did more than hurt me, Evan. You broke me. When you told me that we shouldnt be friends anymore." All of a sudden it rushed back

It was freshman year of high school and Evan and I were so excited to start Highschool. At the middle of the school year, i ened getting freeling for him and I was going to tell him when the time was right. Homecoming. We were plannin on going together but Evean asked another girl. I was heart-broken but was happy for him. then the last day of school someone started to bully me because Evan no longer hung out with me. but thats not the best part. it was one of Evan's friends that where bullying me. I tried to tell Evan but he kept taking his friends side and calling me a liar. the very next day, Evan said we shouldnt be friends anymore and told me to get out. I never knew why until I started seeing him On t.v.

All of a sudden I broke down. All I really wanted was to be best friends with my best friend again. Suddenly I felt his arms around me. I wanted to push him away, but I had no control over my body and hugged him bck tightly. I missed his hugs so much. the way he cuddled with me as we watched t.v. in the game room. My mom and his walked into the room quietly. His smoothed out my hair with his hand.
"I love you shorty." he said.
"I love you too, ET." I joked with him.
"Well, Evan, Drew you need to head to bed." Mom said.
"Mom can i stay here just for tonight?" He begged.
"Can he?" she asked mine.
"Can he?" she asked me. i didnt even answer. I grabbed his hand and pulled him upstairs.
"I guess we got our answer." THey laughed. "I'm so glad they are back to being friends again. Drew was always shut in her room until school and after work." I heared my mom say when i walked back to close my door. Me too, mom. Me too.
Ever since we were little we'd always sleep in the same bed every time he stay the night. I quickly go under the covers and headed to sleep.
When I woke up the next morning, I was in someones arms. I look see that is was Evan. so it wasnt a dream. thank god. It was time to get ready for school. my mom bouht me a new car for my 18th birthday. well it looked pretty new to me. we got in and drove off. I put in our favorite CD and was jamming to it. when the last song was over I turned it offand didnt say anything until i parked in the parking lot. But i said something I didnt want to say.
"I've always liked you." I said.
"What?" He asked confused. God damn it Drew! Why in the hell did you say that.
I grabbbed the keys from the egnition and walked inside before I said anything. I quickly got a library pass and ran straight into someone. I looked up to see my bully. Please not today. He shoved me into the corner causing my shoulder to dislocate. I held it. I tried to ignore him and walk away but he tripped me causing my leg to hit the floor wrong. but I also got the wind knocked out of me.
"Next time, watch were you are going, Ugly." He said as he got down to my level got up and kicked me in the ribs and walked out. I look around and saw a girl running up to me.
"OMG, are you okay?" She asked as she helped me up and then I coughed up blood that ended up on the floor.
"I had koolaid this morning." I lied. I grabbed a nakin and cleaned it up. "But thank you for helping." I said as I headed to the library.I go hid in my corner and cry as the pain started to kick in.I lifted up my pantleg and saw that if i take a wrong step it would end up breaking.
10 minutes later the bell rang and I headed to World Geo.Suddenly the girl from before walked up to me.
"Drew your leg." She said. I looked at her wierd. How in the hell did she know my name, but i end up looking down and saw that my pant leg was wet.
"I washed off the dirt, when I fell." I lied again. I need to stop with this lying. I just need to get through the first day and then get through the rest of the year. Then the last person i wanted to see was John and Evan laughing as they walked into the classroom. I just wanted the class to over with. finally the bell rang and I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I made it to the hall until Evan grabbed my dislocated arm making my scream and then made me fall whitch caused the rest of tmy bone to break. And Then I couldn't hold back the scream. I scooted to the wall as there was a blood trail was left behind.
"Drew, what happened." He asked in his smoothing voice. It calmed me down a little.
"I fell." I lied through my gritting teeth.
Evan's POV
The bell rang and Drew was making a break for it. She made it to the hall but I grabbed her arm, and she screamed like I broke it. Then she fell and I heard something snap in her. she was now screaming like she was getting murderd. She pushed herself up against the wall. I noticed that there was a blood trail from where she was draggin her leg. I grabbed her pantleg gentally.
"Drew, what happened?" I asked her trying to calm her.
"I fell." She said with her jaw clenched.
I lifted up her pant leg gentally, causing her to whimper. Her leg was broken and she was losing alot of blood.
"I'm going to pick out on the count of three okay?" I asked. She nodds. "One...Two...Three!" I lifted her up and she screamed in pain. I walked her to the nurses office and they called the ambulance. Rose and I excused ourselves and in minutes the ambulance was there. We drove with her and stayed with her until we couldn't.
"She didnt fall." Rose said. I looked at her like she was crazy.
"Then what did happen?" I asked her.
"Your little friend John. he has been bullying her for the last three years, but it hadn't gotten this bad." She said.
Suddenly My mom came around the corner shaking her head.
"Mom!" I yelled running up to her.
"Evan? Why on earth are you---are you here with Drew?" She asked.
"Do you know if she's okay?" I asked her.
"I need to talk to you both in my office." She said in her serious voice.
We followed her to her office and she closed the door. she slammed her coffee cup against the wall scaring Rose and I.
"Evan? Why do you hang out with people like John?" She asked with her back towards me.
"What are you talking about mom?" I asked.
"She has a dislocated arm, a broken leg, and two cracked ribs. Thats what I'm talking about!" she yelled at me.
"You cant get those injuries from just falling." Rose said. she was right. "She coughed up blood, Evan."
"Where is my baby?" Her mom came running in.
"Darla...She is this way." she paused. she would have been acting the same way if it were me. she wouldn't be able to calm down. When i get backto school I am going to kick Johns ass. No one gets away with hurting someone I care about. I am such an idiot. she was telling me that he was bullying her and I didnt believe her. I followed behind and enter her room. she was asleep so her mom waited in the waiting room. I can't leave her side. Not ever again. I grabbed her hand and held it until I passed out.
Drew's POV
I slowly opened up my eyes and looked at my surroundings, and remembered what happened. I look at my leg to see how bad it was. it was deffinitly broken. I glanced at my arm and saw it was being held by a cloth looking thing. my my other hand was being hld by someone elses. I looked up to see who he was and and it was Evan. I tried to move it but he had a death grip on it. This reminds me of when I had a concustion.
*FLASHBACK*
"Evan! Come on!" 10 year old me yelled.
"Okay, Drew...I heard you the first time." 11 year old Evan said with a laugh.
"You're as slow as a turtle!" I said as I got in his face jokingly.
"Oh really now." He asked. He started for the park and beat me there.
"Sooooo...Who's slow as a turtle?" He asked turning around and I tackling him to the ground catching him off gaurd. we tumbled around and then we stopped with me on top pinning him to the ground and had my face close up to his.
"Apearently, still you." I said as i licked his face.
"Ewwww. Drew that was gross." He said.
All of a sudden, I felt dizzy. I colapsed right in front of him but before I hit the ground he caught me.
"There you go, need to run like that more often." I joked and passed out in his arms.
The next few hours I woke up in the hospital and Evan was holding my hand asleep, when my mom walked into the room.
"Mommy, what happened?" I asked.
"Hunny, its alright. Evan said that you two were rolling in the grass after tackling him to the ground and he thinks you hit your head." she said. "Ever since we got here, he hasnt left your side."
*END FLASHBACK*
I got up and winced in pain and accidentally woke Evan .
"Sorry." I said.
"What for?" He asked.
"For saying what I said to you this morning." I said.
"Don't worry about it. But i just got one question...Why did you lie to me?" He asked.
"I didnt want to lose you as a friend again." I said. "I was in this stop the last time."
"Drew?" My mom came in.
"Momma." I said.
Evan's POV
I exit out the room so Drew and her mom could talk. I asked If I could borrow mom's car. She handed me the keys and head to the school. school was about to let out. Rose go in the car and Headed there with me.
When we got to the school; I saw John and a couple of my other friends. I jumped out of the car and walked up to him.
"Oh, hey ma-" Before he could finish his sentance he was down on the ground with a back eye.
"Wht the hell man?" He asked. I got on top of him and just kept punching him.
"Evan stop!" Rose screamed. But I wasnt hearing her voice I was hearing Drews
Flashback
"Evan! Please dont do this." She begged outside my front door.
"You think I'm going to believe you? John is not that type of guy. I've known him since 7th grade!" I yelled at her.
"And you've known me your whole life. When have I ever lied to you?" She asked. She was right. she never lied to me. I was so mad, I slammed the door in front of her. I wasn't mad at her. I was mad at myself. How could I do that to her.
End of Flashback.
I keep punching him until he was bleeding everywhere and Rose pulled me off of him.
"If you ever touch her again, You will have to be put in a body brace. Get him out of my sight." I said as I pinched the bridge of my nose and walked over to Drews car and drove off, as Rose took my moms. She followed me back to the hospital.
Drew's POV
"Oh Hunny, you need to stop with all this lying." She said with sypmathy in her voice. I hate when people start to feel sypathy for me. I'm guessing the girl told Evan who told his mom who told mine.
"Mom, I'm not." I said.
"Hunny, you cant get two broken ribs and a dislocated arm by just falling in the hallway. Someone had to kick you, Drew."
I looked forward and looked away from my mom.
"I didnt want you to think of me as weak. Someone who cant defend herself." I said as tears ran down my face. My mom grabbed my face to turned towards her.
"You are the strongest woman I know." She said. I looked up at her and started to cry as I pulled her into a hug.
suddenly there was a knock at the door. I pulled away and Saw that it was Evan.
"Evan." I said.
"Drew, can I speak with you for a moment?" He asked. My mom nods and Kisses my head before leaving the room.
"Hey." He said with sweat on his face.
"Hey are you okay." I asked as I grabbed his hand as he sat down on the chair next to my bed.
I glanced at his hands and saw how bruised they were.
"Evan, tell me you didnt." I begged him.
"I'm so sorry." He said as he looked down in guilt. "This is all my falt. If I just believed you from the begining, you wouldn't be in this bed. you'd be reading or writing on your own bed. I thought you desvered at least revange." He said not looking up at me. I grabbed his chin with my finger.
"I would never ask you to do that. You ended up hurting yourself because of me. John is your best friend I get it." I said.
His Deep hazle brown eyes looked into to my water Goldish brown ones.He grabbed the back of my head and pressed our heads together as he sqeezed his eyes shut. I held the side of his face and closed mine.
We stayed like that until his mom told him to go home and get some rest and he promised he'd be back the next morning. I smiled as he left.
"You care for eachother, don't you?" His mom asked.
"You should know this, Ally." I said with a laugh. (sorry dont know his mom's real name. -_-)
"Drew , you know what I'm talking about." With that my smile faded.
"It doesnt matter. He only see's me as a little sister." I said.
"Or does he." She said as she grabs the blanket and covers me up. she kisses my head and turns off the light. I slowly drift off to sleep.
