Apollo's Perspective

I stare into the waters reflection of me, wondering who I really am, is this.. how the water sees me? Or how I see myself? Well, it's not like it really matters.

I'm not sure where I came from, honestly. The headmaster said she found me walking through the forest, wounded and tired. So she took me in, and decided to tend to my wounds.

Let's see... that was about five days ago. Since then, I've been reading up on this strange place that I've found myself in. The Headmaster has an enormous library- or, rather, I should say that her academy has a rather large one.

You see, this place the Headmaster is in charge of? It's Visrin's famous School of Arts, properly named White Orchid Acadmey because of all of the, you'll never guess the color of them, WHITE ORCHIDS that grow among the courtyards and gardens.

Anyways, the term "School of Arts" does not mean Arts and Crafts. No, that is for an Artisans School. White Orchid Academy teaches the Arts of battle and the skills of different classifications. Classifications include Magicians, Clerics, Hunter, Bard, Knight, Thief, Assassin, and there are many more but that list could practically go on for a long while and... yeah, I don't have the time and energy to waste on it right now.

To get back on track. I'm Apollo, and my classification is Magician. Woop, magic is my forte for sure- or that's what the Headmaster said.. though, I can prove that it is my class. I have cast spells of my own before. The second day of being here, I was sitting next to a little bubbling brook, being the curious one I was I had decieded to try and use water magic.

I had read only one book the first day, it was titled "The Basics of Spellcasting". It was a HUGE book, with amazing hand-written information on the basics of all Spellcraft. Apparently only certain Classifications of the Arts can use certain types of Magic or Skills. It's honestly a lot to take in, but it's easier once you remember them.

ANYWAYS, I held my hand close to where the land began and the water ended, and from there I tried to imagine.. pushing it. Just a little at the start, and surely enough, the water had began to ripple outwards from where my hand was positioned. So, I tried once more, this time with more force..... and I ended up causing a large orb of water to break through one of the Academies windows and disrupt a class lesson... heh.

Welp, it couldn't be helped. But the Headmaster has seen me perform it, and told me I was a natural. But, I still had no idea how to perform most of the magic. It took time and practice to learn spells- and most magicians choose only one element of magic to excel in, two or more elements make it difficult to master them.. and it's never been seen before that someone might excel in all of the elements.

Crap, I'm babbling again. Eh, whatever. I was happy studying, I mean.. There were no clues as to who I was, so I might as well make there be something to look forward to, right?

Or so I thought.

I had gone to sleep on the night of the seventh day, and in the morning I was told by the Headmaster that I would be attending the Academy in order to be taught properly instead of self-teaching, though she was really nice about it so I accepted it graciously. I mean, this woman saved me after all, might as well do what she says since she takes care of me- and let's me stay at her huge dorm in the staff dorms.

Oh yeah.. dorms, this meant I would have to move in to the student dorms... oh, how lovely.

You see, for some reason, no matter what books I read it seems that males are attracted to females. But, I'm a male, and I seem to be attracted to males. God, I must be one messed up human- er.. wait, I have long and pointy ears.. am I an elf? Eh, I'm unsure. I think the Headmaster told me of the races of this land once during breakfast.
