Maggie's POV
I walk into chemistry, and everybody.. I mean, everybody was staring at me. "Um excuse me miss! Why are you late?! Wait... are you even in this class??" Students burst out laughing by her sudden outburst of rage. "Uh... no... well, yeah I am. My name is Maggie. I'm very sorry I had a little trouble finding my way here." I lied. What a great way to start off the school year! Lying to a teacher on the first day!
"Oh! I'm sorry, Maggie. There's a seat in the back. Please go sit down." She pleads. I nodded, and walked away from her. There were eyes following me until I sat down, then everybody turned around. However, there were always the occasional people that would turn around every 5 minutes. I got interrupted by my thoughts by a guy with very, very curly, black hair. He had glasses, and brown eyes.
"Helllllo? Maddie!!" The guy waved his hand in front of my face. I grabbed his wrist so he would stop moving it. "Maggie." I corrected. "Ohhhh... my bad. Is that short for something?" He asked, very little people actually asked me this question. "Yeah... It's short for Margaret." I admitted.
"Aw that's so pretty!" He exclaimed but got scolded by the teacher.
"Thanks."
"I'm calling you that." I stated proudly.
"Go get em tiger." That's like my catch phrase. He laughed. Actually, he laughed a lot. I had no idea I was that funny.
Just then, Cameron burst through the door. He showed the teacher the pass, and she nodded. He made eye contact with me, and walked over. He sat down, and just stared at me. "Glad you found your way, beautiful." I blushed and giggled. "That giggle will be the death of me."
"ALRIGHT CLASS SETTLE DOWN AND GET TO WORK!" The teacher yelled. Everyone did as they were told. I tiny piece of paper landed on my class work. I looked up, and saw Cameron smiling. I smiled, and picked up the paper. It read:
You're so gorgeous, smart, funny, and such a sweetheart. I'm so glad you're mine.
I smiled ear to ear. He's so sweet to me. I love him so much. I he ever broke my heart I would be absolutely devastated. I wrote back:
Cameron, I love you so much. You are the best boyfriend ever. You're the sweetest guy ever, you're super handsome, and you can make me laugh when I thought no one else could. I love you.
I threw it on his desk. I watched as he smiled, and started writing. I went back to my work. Suddenly, a little piece of green paper landed in front of me. Assuming It was from Cameron, I picked it up. It read:
Margaret,
I'm not going to lie. You're funny, and you are absolutely flawless. Maybe we could go out sometime? ;)
-Sam
So his name is Sam. I look up at him, and he's staring at me wiggling his eyebrows up and down. I couldn't help but laugh. I look at Cameron, and he looks angry. I'll ask him about it later. I had to write back to Sam.
Samuel,
You're very nice, but I have a boyfriend. He's currently sitting right next to me lol. Sorry! We could always hang out as friends.
-Maggie
I passed it to him under the table. He smiled as he took it. His smile quickly faded as he read the rejection note. He just says okay to me, without writing a note.
Before I knew it, class was already over. The bell rang, and everyone spilled out of the room. Cameron was in the mix. I went to his locker, and saw him putting in his combination. "Hey... thanks for waiting." He turned around, and gave me an annoyed look. "Walk with Sam." He sternly said.
"What's your problem?" I asked getting kind of defensive.
"Oh nothing! Just the fact that my girlfriend who by the way says she loves me went and flirted with a sleaze ball... A.K.A SAM!" He yelled. He was making such a scene.
"Cameron... I wasn't flirting with him... I do love you. I love you so much. I thought maybe I would get another friend, but I guess me being friends with a guy is too difficult for you. Which makes no sense since you introduced me to like all your guy friends!" I fought back. I was raising my voice more and more after every sentence.
"You can be friends with guys. It's just... I know Sam. Even if you say your not interested with him, he won't give up. He'll try to get with you. I just don't want to share you." he explained.
"How would you know? Unless it happened to you."
"I know because I was friends with Sam for a really long time. He would tell me how he got with a bunch of girls in one week. Even if they rejected him, he would seduce them. Sam gets what he wants, and leaves never talking to them again. I couldn't bare to hear his stories anymore, so I told him that what he was doing was wrong. He just ignored it, and continued to do it. I'm almost positive he got with every girl in this grade." I was disgusted. I needed proof. I mean, I trust Cameron I just wanted to make sure he was telling the truth.
"Wow.... I don't know... Sam just doesn't seem like the kind of guy who does that."
"Oh you don't believe me? Hold on.." With that he stopped a girl in the hallway and asked her, "Hi Marissa, so I was just wondering what your opinion on Sam Manes is." She had a very annoyed, disgusted face on. "Ew don't even mention the douche to me. I hate him. He hurt me so bad. I was so upset. He had sex with me, and then the day after he wouldn't answer my texts, calls, and he would never talk to me." She explained. Wow.... so it's true. Marissa looked at me, and pointed her finger at me. "Don't trust him. He'll hurt you in many different ways." A tear slipped down her face, she walked away.
"I'm sorry I didn't believe you. I was going to hang out with him. I will cancelled it. Thank you Cameron for telling me this. I love you." I said while wrapping my arms around his torso.
"It's my job. I'm here to protect you." He said while kissing my head.
"Let's go to my house now." He suggested. (I know they only went to two classes, but were going to act like a whole day went by)
"Okay." We walked out of school with our fingers wrapped together. When we got to his car we played music, and left. We were listening to Car Radio by Twenty One Pilots. This song speaks to me. We sat still with the music basting. I didn't bother singing because I wanted to hear the lyrics.
When we arrived, we walked into his house, said hello to his mom, and put in Finding Nemo. We cuddled on the couch in the living room. Right when I was about to fall asleep in Cameron's arms his mom walked by. "You guys are cute." She said while walking upstairs. I smiled to the fact that someone supported our relationship. My eyes grew heavier, and I fell asleep in the perfect spot with a smile on my face.

Guys I am sorry I didn't update last night. I fell asleep while writing it. I finished it right now, but it's really bad since I was rushing. Btw Sam Canes in this is actually a real person, and he is one of my best friends. He is not at all a sleaze ball. Just making that clear. I just changed his last name just cuz I felt weird putting his full name on here. Anyway, Thanks for getting me more reads! I love you all so much! Well, you know that.... whatever I LOVE YOU! Sorry again! I'll update either tonight or tomorrow.
