The sound of the heart monitor was somewhat relaxing. The constant beeping, sounding like a messed up song.

The room was white and smelt of cleaning supplies. The bed was comfortable, supporting my back in the right places.

Yet I felt awkward, laying here alone looking out a large window as rain hit it with a soft tap.

It was cloudy and depressing. Just like my thoughts.

My parents haven't come to see me yet. Even though its been Six years I would've thought they would be a bit excited to see their daughter alive.

Patiently waiting for them.

Only moments ago I was on the island of Reshankati waiting for help. Now im laying on a hospital bed in my home town.

I sat up, feeling my muscles ache. With a slight stretch my bones cracked, and I felt more relieved.

I wonder what everyone is going to think.

Calli Red found alive after six years of being isolated on a deserted island in western Russia.

Six years of absolute nothingness. Alone. Or so they think.

My thoughts are quickly washed away as I hear the loud clicking of heels. It echoed through the long hallway outside my hospital room.

The door was swiftly opened as a blonde entered the room.

My mother.

"Hello dear." She whispered coming closer to me opening her arms just a bit.

"Hey." I replied quietly giving her a small smile.

Tears trinkled down her delecate face as she stared me down. She walks even closer and wraps her thin arms around my body.

"Ive missed you so much." She said in between sobs.

"Ive missed you too." I tell her truthfully.

She might be a corrupt person inside, but she is also my mother whom I love and cherish.

Removing her arms from me, she wipes her tears and chuckles a bit.

"I always knew you were alive, my sweet Red."

I smile at that, remembering the nickname she gave me. Even though that is my families last name.

"Well lets get you checked out, everyone is waiting for you at home."

"Everyone?" I ask giving her a questioning look.

"Yes." She nods turning away.

I get up, but fail to remember that im still hooked up to the heart monitor.

I almost fall, but catch myself.

"Well it seems like I cant come, im kind of hooked up." I tell her just as shes about to walk out the door.

"Oh." She says smirking a bit.

"Ill get a nurse."

I nod and smile while walking back towards the hospital bed.

The drive home was a little awkward. I mean what do you have to say to a girl who was "dead".

Not much I think.

The car ride was filled with "I missed you so much, and so did everyone else."

I would nod and reply back with the same thing. Except for the everyone else part.

The car came to a stop infront of a large mansion. My home.

"Well they're waiting, lets go." My mother tells me getting out of the car.

I tag along walking slowly behind her. We come face to face with gigantic wooden doors. That seem to have elegant drawings on them.

I dont remeber those.

The doors are opened by a short old man. Roberto.

I run up to him squeezing the life out of him. He was one of the few I missed the most.

His short arms wrapped around my waist. He is a good foot shorter than me.

I move away giving him a huge smile.

"Its good to be home."
