Chapter 29

                     The darkness I was consumed in slowly started to fade away and I was able to open my eyes. I regretted that as soon as I did cause the brightness of the place I was in stung my eyes. I slowly blinked so my eyes could get used to it. I was finally able to fully open my eyes, so I tried to sit up but I was stuck to an operating table.

                      I lifted my head and noticed I was wrapped in thick belts. My wrists hurt so I looked to where they were and silver handcuffs were placed around my wrists. I tried to pull my hand out or to at least break them but it just made my wrists burn even more. "It's no use", I heard a deep voice say from next to me.

                        I looked and saw a boy wrapped up like me. He had brown hair and bright blue eyes that were staring back at me. He was good-looking but looked food deprived. "What?" my voice sounded hoarse. "Its no use I already tried to get out plenty of times; your captured and that's that", he frowned.

                         I then remembered what happened; the boy, the rouge, and passing out. "Another royal wolf", those words played in my head. "Oh no Rosily, Drake", I panicked. The boy suddenly shot his head up, "Did you just say Drake?" I nodded, "He's my cousin and a huge pain in the butt". He smiled, "He's my younger brother, I'm glad he's okay". 

                            Now that I think about it he does look like an older Drake; But how come Drake never mentioned it. "Then you must be the other royal wolf they were talking about", I stated. "Yeah, the names Aiden; my element is fire", he said looking up at the ceiling. "My name's Kennedy, my element is water", I said also looking at the ceiling. This whole time my nose was itching and I couldn't scratch it ugh -_-

                         "Ah the healer and purifier, your lucky cause what they're about to do you're gonna need your healing abilities", I could tell he has been through a lot. "How long have you been here?" I asked removing my gaze to him. He sighed, "I think about 8 months now, as you can see it's hard to keep track of time here". "Where are we?", I finally asked. "The devil's playground", he said through clenched teeth. "The devil being?" "Victor", he whispered.

                      The name made me freeze and my body tense up. The one I saw in the woods that one time?The one Aria told us about? Considering I'm on a operating table pretty much tells me my answer. My eyes widen and I try again to break free from the handcuffs. "We have to find a way to get out", I looked at Aiden. He let out a forced chuckle, "Don't you think if I could, that I would still be in here?" "You have the fire element why can't you burn this place?", I asked.

                   "This room is made of some type of substance that doesn't allow us to use our elements", he explained. "How did he know that the substance would work?" "He doesn't just do these experiments for the fun of it even though that's mostly the reason; he finds stuff out and uses it against everyone who's not sided with him", he cringed.

                         "How did you get captured?" the first question he's asked me. "I helped a little boy then a rogue and I tried to fight off a rogue, he must have seen my fur and took me away", I shrugged. He didn't say anything but nodded. Speaking of my fur when did I get back to my human form; I probably changed when I passed out. My stomach stopped hurting so I guess Aiden was right about my healing.

                      "How old are you?" I asked since I was curious about my new cousin. "20, but I could be 21; when was February 22?", he asked. "Five months ago", I replied. "Well then I'm 21, I can legally drink and I'm stuck here", he chuckled. Well at least he still has a sense of humor.

                       "When we get out of here alcohol will be the second thing I give you", I smiled. "What's the first thing?", He looked at me. "Your Brother, cause you can have him", I tried wiping my nose against the belt closest to my face but it was to far away. Stupid nose why do you have to itch right at this moment.

                          He smiled but then frowned a little, "How is he?" "He's good I guess; he found his mate", Aiden smiled at that. "What about you? Have you found your mate?", Aiden asked. "Yes, his name is Blake; have you found yours?" "He shook his head, "No, I've always been on the run and plus I've been stuck in here for a while", I frowned at that.

                            "Hate to interrupt this family reunion but a new royal wolf means a new element, which also means something new for me to do", a deep voice said from the entry way of this room. I lifted my head but instantly regretted it. When I saw him in the woods it was shaded from the trees. Now that I'm in a bright white room I got to see him closer.

                           He was wearing a surgery procedure outfit and was putting on gloves. My eyes traveled further up and I noticed a scar on his lips. I brought my gaze further up and I shivered at the cold green eyes looking straight into mine. I tried to wiggle around to maybe loosen up the belts but it was no use just like Aiden said.

                          I looked up at Aiden and he was trying to get out of his handcuffs too. He stopped and looked at me with fear; But he wasn't scared for him he was scared for me. "You'll be okay", he mouthed. I didn't know what he meant until I felt the operating table move and I was being pulled closer out of the room I was in. "No no no no please don't do this", I pleaded. Victor smirked, "Sorry sweetheart but victor is gonna have some fun".
