A Wolfs Tale

Chapter 2

"Skull do you have something to say!?" Reaper asked me,I could hear the worry and anger in his tone. All I had in me was anger. " WHAT DID YOU DO THIS TIME, HUH REAPER? DID YOU LET ANOTHER PACK MEMBER DIE!!" I growled aggressively at him, my voice laced with anger and sadness. " Come on skull it's probably not that, it's just bad news how bad could it be."  Bone said to me with worry. "JUST SOME BAD NEWS?! IM JUST A WOLF TOO BONE!" I growled at her. I didn't mean it to come out that angry, but it did. Bone looked at me mad and annoyed. She gestured to reaper and pulled me into the warriors den.

"Have you lost your mind!" She growled at me, " That was reaper and me you were growling at!!" She said to me visibly angry. my anger had suddenly gone away and quickly turned into sadness. " I know, it's just that .... The last time he had bad news was when they died." I said with sadness. Bones expression quickly turned to sadness as well. But she was quick to change the subject. "I'm going back out, you stay in here, if you go back out your going to get a lot of looks."  Bone said walking out of the den. " Good idea."  I told her as she was leaving.

I watched as bone left the den and sat with the rest of the pack. I got a few glances my way, but I didn't care. Some wolves here know I have some problems with lashing out when there is bad news, so it wasn't a surprise to them. Others werent so used to it, so they looked pretty scared. By the sound of things reaper was assigning patrols to the pack. I knew that bone and i weren't going to get assigned anything. We've been in this pack our whole lives and only been assigned patrol three times in total.  He says we're his 'best warriors, so we have to stay here if we're under attack'. He says the same thing all. The. Time.
Reaper called off the meeting, and everyone went back to doing their jobs, I watched bone with curiosity, as she looked deep in thought.
As reaper was walking into his den bone stopped him, and asked him something. I didn't quite catch what it was, but I know it had something to do with me. Because reaper gestured to me in the middle of his sentence. It was probably about the whole me lashing out at him thing. I wonder what they were talking about?  Bone walked away clearly annoyed. She growled to herself as she walked away. She had this rebellious look in her eye, like she was debating whether to do something or not. What was she planning.
