Tragedy to Love

Missing you

“She said your love life would become a tragedy.” I froze right there. I couldn’t even find the next question to ask.

“W…what… did she say… anything else?” I said looking at Sally waiting for an answer. She shook her head but I could tell… there was something, something she wasn’t telling me. “Sally… please tell me.” I said practically begging.

“She said that you were crazy if you thought you would still have a relationship now that hers was over.” Sally stood up off the hammock and walked back over to where everyone was sitting. I sat there with my head in my knees. It’s okay Sam only two more moths till Niall comes home and everything will be fine.

“Sam you okay?” Rosie said walking over and sitting beside me.

“Lucy… she told Sally she would make my love life a tragedy because that is what I did to hers. “

“Oh Sam… don’t worry she can’t do anything.” Rosie said rubbing my back.

“I also didn’t think she could do anything to Sally.” I said looking up at Rosie.

“Listen it will be fine. You will see Niall in a month and everything will be all good.” She said smiling at me.

“A month? He doesn’t come back for two.” I said looking at her confused. A look of regret washed over her face.

“Oh… uhm… pretend I didn’t say anything.” She said nervously.

“What are you talking about Ro?” I said trying to get her to spill.

“You will see.” She said winking at me. She stood up and walked back over to everyone. I sat there trying to figure out what she meant… I guess I will find out. I shrugged and stood up walking back towards everyone. I took a seat next to Niall’s mom and she leaned over. “I s everything okay darling?” She whispered in my ear. I nodded and gave her a small smile. Shay made hamburgers and we all relaxed on a nice day.

It started getting dark and since it was a Sunday Sally went back to school tomorrow.

“Okay you behave… and have fun at school.” I said ruffling Sally’s curly hair.

“You got it! Going to miss you Sam!” She said giving me one last hug.

“Don’t worry I will be back.” I stood up from the hug and walked over to Shay.

“Well thanks again for you know taking care of her.” I gave Shay a hug and we chatted a little while Rosie and Sally finished saying goodbye.

“Okay see you guys!” I yelled as we walked out the door. We got into the car and Niall’s mom drove us back to her house. We would be staying there for about three days. “Okay Sam you can stay in Niall’s room and Rosie you can take the spare bedroom. I’m sure you girls are tired so feel free to shower and head to bed.” She said smiling pulling up in front of the house.

“Okay thanks.” Rosie and I said collecting are luggage. It was getting darker now and all the lights were off inside. When I turned on the lights the room looked so different.

“Oh yeah we did some renovations since the last time you guys were here.” Niall’s mom said walking passed us.

“I can tell! It looks good!” I said looking at everything. The living room looked bigger and so much brighter than before. There were a lot more pictures and decorations around the room. I walked over to a picture, it was me and Niall at his cousins wedding.

“That’s my favorite.” Niall’s mom said standing next to me. I looked at the picture and I we both looked so happy.

“Yeah mine too.” I said smiling at it.

“One day that will be a picture of you at your wedding.” She said before walking away.

“I hope so…” I whispered under my breath.  I walked up the stairs to Niall’s room and placed my bags down. I sat on the bed and took out my phone. 2 missed calls from Niall. I dialed him back and he picked up on the second ring.

“Hello Sam.” He said down the phone, I could hear the smile on his face.

“Hey Niall! I miss you.” I said leaning back on the bed.

“I know babe. I miss you too! Hey get on skype. I have some time now and I need to talk to you.” I pulled out my laptop and logged on to my skype.

“Okay I’m on.” I hung up the phone and answered my incoming call. “Hey there sexy.” I said winking at Niall.

“Hey… wait a second… where are you?” He asked squinting his eyes.

“In your room.” I said nonchalantly leaning back on the bed.

“Why?”

“Because I came and visited Sally and I’m staying with your mom.” I said giggling at him.

“Oh I see… well I have a surprise for you.” Niall said smiling at me. “You are coming on tour with us the last month!” I froze. I was so excited I had no idea what to say! “Paul said you could come since your birthday is in that month… and I did a little convincing.” He said winking at me.

“Yay!” I squealed excitedly jumping on the bed. “I can’t wait!”

“Me either babe! I miss you!” He said lying back in what I will assume is his hotel bed.

“Sam!” I heard a voice yell. Sure enough it was Louis. “Hey there sexy mama.” He said winking at the camera.

“What’s good sassmasta?” I said giggling at how close his face was. He laughed at me and moved away from the camera showing Niall again.

“So yeah I can’t wait for you to come out here! You will love it!” He said smiling bigger than ever.

“I can’t either… but what about guppy?” I said pouting my lip.

“Well… maybe one of the girls can watch him again?” He said fiddling with something on his computer.

“I guess.” I said sighing. “Well I’m really tired babe. Love you! Goodnight.” I blew him a kiss and he did the same. I ended the call and sunk into the comfy bed. I soon found myself drifting off to sleep.

*1 month later*

“Okay and you’re sure you can handle the dog?” I said to Rosie as I walked toward my apartment door.

“Yes! Don’t worry! Now go have fun and call me!” She said shooing me out of the apartment.

“Okay I will!” I walked down the stairs with all 4 of my bags and into the taxi that was waiting for me.

“To the Airport.” I said as I climbed into the backseat. The car ride was long but peaceful, I watched as the many trees and building whizzed by.

“You’re here ma’am.” The man said pulling up in front of the entrance. I paid him and exited the taxi with all of my bags. I made it through security and to my terminal entrance in no time. I sat down in one of the chairs next to a man.

“Oh aren’t you that famous boys girlfriend.” He said not looking up from his newspaper.

“Uhm Niall Horan? Yes.” I said searching for my phone. He didn’t say anything after that and it was quite awkward. I would catch him looking over every once in a while.

“Flight 209 to America is now boarding.” The flight attendant said through the speakers. I stood up and collected my things once again. I handed the flight attendant my ticket and found my seat. I placed my carry-on bag in the overhead and slumped into my chair. I put my head phones in and rested my head back. America here I come!
