Forgotten. Chapter 1.

It was just a normal day, I was sitting outside on my old swing set remembering all of my childhood memories with my friends and moving all the way across the world.

My name is Payton, i come from North Carolina, but I moved to Cheshire, England when I was about 5. I'm 17 now and I have a slight accent cause I've been here the magority of my life. I have a really dark shade of brown hair and light brown eyes. Also I'm not one of the tallest people around I'm only 5'6, that's pretty short compared to many people I know. Harry Styles and I were best friends, we practicaly grew up together we would hang out everyday from when we were 6 to right before he auditioned for X Factor.

I came inside, grabbed some water and went upstairs to my room to check my Twitter and Facebook when suddenly my phone rang, it was an unknown number, i answered.

"Hey who's this?" I asked.

"Payton? , this is Harry." I really didn't wanna talk to him, when he went to audition for the X Factor he promised me that he'd call a lot to tell me how everything was. But he didn't, I haven't talked to him once and it's been almost two years. Also the reason I didn't have his number was because he's changed it so many times.

"oh... hi harry, how are things?"

"GREAT. Thanks for asking! How are things there?"

"They are okay... why did you call?"

"I called to apologize about not calling you, I just get so busy with everything. And I also have a question?"

"Whats your question?" I asked.

"Well, Payton, since we haven't seen each other in a long while, why don't we hang out or something? I have a little vacation and I'm in town."

"Sure, I guess..."

"WONDERFUL! I'll pick you up at 5 okay?"

"okay see you then?"

"See you then! Can't wait!"

I was confused. Why would he call me out of the blue like that. Oh whatever, at least I have something to do instead of watch movies all night. I text my mum: hey mummy, Harry just called me and we made plans to hang out tonight. Is that okay?

She replied within seconds: Yes sure, have fun!

It was 3:30. i went into my closet to find something decent to where, I picked out some skinny jeans and a floral shirt, straightened my hair, and put a little bit of eyeliner and mascara. I don't really where foundation much. I heard the doorbell ring so i grabbed my purse and ran downstairs. As soon as I opened the door, Harry grabbed me and pretty much squeezed the life out of me.

"PAYTON, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!"

"Same to you Harold" I smiled.

"Same old Payton, gotta love her!"

"Well what can i say? Shall we go?"

"I think we should" Harry smirked.

We got into Harry's car, still wondering why he wanted to hang why he wanted to hang out with me all of a sudden. He looked very nice acually, he had on a blue Jack Wills t-shirt and jeans.

"So Payton, i really am truly sorry about never calling, everything was just so busy."

"It's fine" I said smiling even though deep down, i was still sad about not seeing or even talking to him.

"Great! I want to take you to meet the boys"

"Awh! Harry that's so sweet thank you so much!"

"Anything for one of my best friends!"

We arrived at a small restaurant because the boys probably didn't want to be spotted by a bunch of girls. To be honest, I was kind of scared to meet the boys, I'm not really one of those crazy directioners. I think there wonderful and everything, but every time I heard anyone say One Direction I always thought back to the times when Harry was my best friend and i could tell him anything!

I saw that all four of the boys were already there, it was kind of weird in a way because I didn't really know any of them.

"Hello lads, this is one of my friends, her name is Payton!" Harry told the boys, I waved.

"ello' love" they all said in unison.

We sat down, we were in a booth, I was next to Harry and on the other side was Louis. I got an imessage from Harry: hey Niall just text me and asked me for your number, can I give it to him?

I text him back: go ahead(:

"So Harry, this is the girl you talk about all the time" Liam asked.

"Yep Liam this is her!" I was shocked I thought that Harry had actually talked about me too the boys, I thought he had forgot about me, I guess not...

We all ordered I just got a salad because I wasn't very hungry but the other boys seemed to be starving! It was odd, every time I looked up I'd make complete eye contact with Niall.

The boys started to talk about how they were very excited for they're next tour but I sort of zoned out, I felt so lucky to be having dinner with these 5 wonderful boys!

I was getting tired so Harry said he'd take me home, I thanked all the boys for having me come with them to dinner, while we all exchanged numbers.

As soon as we got in the car i got a text from Niall and Liam, but I didn't read them till I got home.

"Did you have fun Payton?" Harry asked

"Yes I did" I said smiling.

"I really hope we can start hanging out more, I really missed you and when i say that I mean it, do you wanna skype when I get home?"

"Sure! I missed you too Hazza, and i hope so too" We pulled into my driveway and I thanked Harry again and hugged him.

I walked in the door, it was only 9:15, why am I so tired. I changed into some giant sweatpants and a giant t-shit, and checked my messages, liams read: Hey Payton, tonight was so fun! We should really hang out again! I replied: i know right! thank you for such a great night, and I'd love to hang out with you and the boys again.

Then I looked at Niall's text:

hey tonight was great, maybe i'll ring yah up sometime!

I was shocked, I didn't know what so say so I just said:

wasn't it? and okay!(:

To me it was quite weird what was happening between me and Harry, for two years I don't exist and then one day out of the ordinary, I get a phone call from him and he wants me to hang out with him and all of the boys from his little boy band. Am I just over thinking it or is it weird. 

I threw my phone on my bed to go brush my teeth, I was right in the middle of brushing when my phone started ringing, Harry was calling so i quickly finished and grabbed my phone and answered it.
