Commander Steve McGarrett was enjoying semi-retirement, He & his ohana, The Five-O Taskforce, are the most elite unit on the islands, They back up the HPD, But since crime is slow, & there hasn't been any trouble. They get to enjoy their lives without any interruptions, or disturbances.
He thought about his life, & doesn't regret one thing that had happened, The Hunky Brunette was also thinking of what he wanted for his life. He is looking forward to opening the restaurant with Danny next weekend, His & Danny's dreams are coming true, Finally after blood, sweat, & tears were shed.
The Former Seal realized that nothing is more important than family, He works his butt off to protect them, & he would be damned, If he lets something happen to them. Steve doesn't miss the action, but he has no idea that he will be thrown back into it.
Meanwhile, Jessica "Jessie" Landers was a College Professor at the University Of Hawaii, She loves her job, But not lately, when she has to deal with football players in her class everyday, They try to intimidate her, The Young Woman knew how to fight back.
She humiliated them, when they were acting like asses, while she was lecturing. They were angry, & threatened her life, as they left the classroom, As soon as they left. She regained control of her breathing. She has no idea that her life is gonna take a different turn, & not for the better.
Steve met Danny at their restaurant,LaFamiglia, They greeted each other with hugs, & got right to work. They were taking care of last minute details for the opening, They have no idea that they are about to get a phone call that will change their lives. One, That will bring the team back together, & this time, it will be forever.
Danny knew that it was time to tell Steve how he feels, If he doesn't do it, He won't do it at all, The Blond knew that he has to claim his man, or lose him forever. Danny decided to tell him on that night, & see where the cards will fall. He cares too much, not to try this at all. The Loudmouth Detective was ready for anything that would happen.
He focused on his work, instead of focusing on Steve, He was thinking about what he is gonna say, Danny felt about anyone like this before, since Rachel. The Blond went straight to the kitchen, so he could make them a wonderful meal, & also have a nice talk in the process, so the evening will be better for them.
As he entered his turf, He couldn't help but still think how attractive Steve is, & what he is doing for his libido. He willed it down, & went straight to cooking, He relaxed finally, & he enjoyed himself, & what he was doing. The Blond was looking forward to some quality time with his partner, & have fun in the process, as they go through the step together.
Steve was having the same problem with Danny, He thought that the blond was the hottest piece of ass that he ever saw, The Former Seal was a chicken shit, & couldn't make the first move, But, He decided that he will make it that evening, so he wom' be alone anymore for many years to come.
