Matt's POV

I think it's a good thing I moved here to get away from all the drama in my hometown. Things took a turn and my family thought it would be best to move to make a fresh start. I thought they were right. I guess we chose to move to Los Angeles because we know some family down there. But anyways I have always wanted to live there since I was a little kid. I always thought it was the dream state. Now I go to a high school called West Falls. It seems pretty cool besides the fact that most of the girls have their boobs pushed up to the sky and are wearing shorts that are way to short. Which isn't such a bad thing.

As I walked into the school I felt like all eyes were on me. Once people realized who I was they ran up to me screaming. This really was not the kind of attention I needed right now. The crowd around me started getting bigger and bigger. Then the principal came and told everyone to clear and to leave me alone. As everyone left I thanked him.

"Any time. So how has it been so far here?" The principal of the school said.

"Well besides the fact that right when I got in I nearly got trampled, then good." I said laughing.

"Well I hope your time here is going to be enjoyable" he said.

I got this weird feeling that he really doesn't like my sarcasm or me.

"Thank you" I said.

"Have a nice day!" He said.

"You too" i said smiling.

Sophie's POV

When I walked into first period he was here. The teacher treated him like he was some king or something. Why do people like him so much. He's just some tool that thinks doing stupid things are funny in my opinion.

"Sophie. Sophie. SOPHIE!" My teacher screamed.

I guess I was thinking so much that I didn't even hear that she was talking to me. "Yes?" I said.

"Since you obviously don't want to pay attention here you are going to be showing Matt around the school and to his classes."

"Seriously. Out of all the people in the world." I said annoyed.

"Why don't you add a day of detention to that too now." My English teacher exclaimed. The whole class started looking at me and laughing now. Which didn't really bother me but still. DETENTION. Really was that necessary? It's Not like I needed another problem to deal with after everything that happened over the summer and my family problems.

Matt's POV

Finally first period was over. If all my classes were like this it would be hell by the end of the day. As I walked out of the class room I saw Sophie talking to her friend so I walked up to her.

"So I kind of got the vibe that you don't like me much from that episode in the classroom." I said to her.

"No really? I love you. Seriously." She said sarcastically glaring at him.

"Woah. Slow down there. I don't get why you have a problem with me." I said.

"Well maybe because since you have got here all you have done is cause problems for me." She said getting angrier and angrier.

"Well maybe we could start over" I said calmly to her.

"Hah. Nice try." She said walking away. She was actually really beautiful, and I liked it that she wasn't obsessed with me like all the other girls at this school.

"So I'm guessing your not going to show me around." I shouted as she was waking away. She didn't even hesitate to look back. She just kept walking like I wasn't even there.

Sophie's POV

"This is so stupid" I said with anger in my voice "Ever since HE came here there has been been nothing but problems"

"But he is soooo hot!" my best friend Hannah said. As she said it I could tell she was serious.

That just made me laugh harder. Hannah has brown eyes with long straight brown hair. As to me I have long brown wavy hair with brown eyes.

I chuckled in response and walked away. People are so stupid to follow into that trap. They act all nice but in the end they just treat you like your nothing. I would know.
