Hi my name is Sarah. I’m 16 years old and I have a younger brother and sister. My brother’s name is Marco and my sister is Lisa but I call her lili. We all stay with my mom and dad at 22 green Rd I’ve lived here my whole crappy life. Yep I said it; my crappy life. Every day I wake up to something it’s always something.

         My mom and dad are both alcoholic’s so things get really bad .the only time I get to myself is when I go to the beach down the trail behind my house and sit on the big rock that’s out there. I love to watch the sunset it’s just so pretty on the water. Normally I put my brother and sister in the bath tub and make sure that they brush their teeth before bed then I read them a

bed time story so they can go to sleep by time all that’s done my mom and dad are so drunk that I can just walk out but I’ll be back before they even know it.  

I started down the trail in the back of the house walking I could just hear all the birds singing and I could just smell all the honey scales when I got to the rock I was just in time for the sunset I climbed up on the rock and watched the sunset it was just so beautiful to me the way it looked on the water the way it felt on my skin it was just so relaxing. I started to think about my life and how i’m not happy and how my brother and sister depend on me so much to keep them safe and what can I do to make it better for them I jumped down off the rock and started to walk on the beach running my toes in the sand and walking in the water it was nice to be in a quiet place alone with no distractions. I started to walk home back down the narrow path way when I got close enough to the house I could hear yelling and screaming crying I ran up the stairs to the back door when I got in my mom hit me in the head with a plastic cup she threw it at me and started to run towards me I baled up in a ball because I didn’t know what to do she started to hit me over and over and over again she finally she stopped and ran upstairs. My dad came running down the stairs with my brother in his hand held by his shirt and threw him right into the wall so hard you could hear the breath being knocked out of him I tried to run over to help him but my dad hit me in the face and I flew back and hit the floor i got up and my dad just was yelling at me saying where did you go, where did you go i said i just took a walk and came back but then he just walked away and wen back to sitting in his chair.

     I took my brother upstairs and put him back to sleep he was crying telling me that he didn’t even do anything why did they come up here and mess with me I said bubby  when mommy and daddy drink they don’t know what they're doing ok so just go to sleep so u can get up for school tomorrow ok and he said ok. I walked into my room and just bursted into tears i just could not take this anymore i had to find a way to get away from all this conflict i got myself together and went to take a shower before i went to sleep for school tomorrow I brushed  my teeth and went to bed. The next morning i woke up and went into my brother and sister’s room to wake them up for school they got up and i helped them get dressed they had a bowl of cereal then we walked to the bus stop i gave them a hug and kiss an said have a good day i love you then i walked home it was only 6 o'clock and i don’t have to be out the house tell 7:30 so i walked home and got ready for the bus to come so i could go to school.

                I started to walk to the bus stop an i seen kelly (kelly williams) the girl that i hate she always has to say something to me like i don’t have enough going on at home i still walked to the the bus stop thought and as soon as I got there she said well hey there sarah or should I say miss trashy I just looked at her then she said well you're not going to say anything back wow how rude I said no I probably would have if u came to me the right way instead of being rude to me and calling me out my name she just looked at me like she didn’t know what  I was saying or she just didn’t care the bus pulled up and she turned away and got onto the the bus kelly sat down before me and she put her foot in the ail way and I tipped and feel on the floor everyone laughed at me i got up and sat down in a set I was so mad that she did that to me I just couldn’t be more mad at her.
