In My Blood: Shawn Mendes

Part 1

It's your first day back at school

L: "Hey Y/N! What do you have first?"

Y/N: "Um.. I'll check"

You pull out your schedule from inside your bag

Y/N: "I've got Legal Studies"

L: "I've got English"

Y/N: "Wow, we each got the worst subjects"

The bell goes off and you hug Lily bye

Y/N: "I'll see you later"

L: "Bye"

You start walking and bump into Shawn Mendes

S: "Watch it"

Y/N: "Sorry"

You look back at him and smile, you continue to walk to class

Miss P: "Hello everyone, I'm Miss Petuni, I will be your Legal Studies teacher for these upcoming years as Mrs Jones has retired"

You continue on with class, you don't do much work, all Miss does is want you to read a book about solicitors. Once you've finished reading (usually takes 50 minutes for the 3 chapters), Miss allows you to leave.

Y/N: "Hey Shawn"

Shawn Mendes looks back and doesn't smile, wave or say hi, you look back at the ground as you walk, you feel embarrassed. 

Y/N: "Lil! How was it?"

L: "Not bad, yours?"

Y/N: "We had a new teacher, she's alright, we just read and all that"

L: "Cool, I'll meet you at the bench"

You walk to the lockers and grab your Math and Hospitality stuff

M: "Hey sis, what've you got?"

Y/N: "Math and Hospitality"

M: "Sucks to be you"

You continue to get out your stuff and walk to the bench, you see Lily, Mia, Stella and Hana

Y/N: "Hey guys!"

Mia: "Hey"

You sit down and start eating

H: "Omg look! Shawn's walking past"

You look at him and he spots you, you look back down

Y/N: "Yea, why does it matter?"

H: "Whatever, I'm going to the bathroom"

You finish eating and say bye to the others

Y/N: "Tell Hana I'm gone"

L: "Sure"

You walk off and walk to class. For math you're doing algebra. For hospitality you're getting a list of what you're cooking this term.

S: "Why were you staring at me during recess?"

Y/N: "No reason"

S: "It was weird, please stop"

You walk off awkwardly and get your lunch and put everything except you're computer

Stella: "Hey Y/N, I'll meet you in the library in, 10 minutes?"

Y/N: "Meet at the stairs in 10"

Stella: "Alright, see you"

You eat your lunch and throw the garbage away, you spot Shawn with your sister so you walk up to them

Y/N: "Sis, come her"

M: "Fine, I'll be back"

Y/N: "I heard Shawn talk bad about you"

You walk off and make your sister hate Shawn so you can get him. You walk in the library and see Shawn walk in

S: "I didn't talk bad about Millie, why are you saying that?"

Y/N: "Um.."

S: "Do you like me or something?"

Y/N: "Um.. no"

S: "Ok then"

Stella walks in and sits next to you

Stella: "You look sad"

Y/N: "No I'm fine"

You do some homework and then leave to go to class. You do your tech work and finish early, you see Shawn walk past. You purposely bump into him and drop your stuff to see if he picks it up

S: "Hey, careful"

Shawn does pick up your mac and walks off. You smile thinking about how kind he his. You pack your bag and go on your phone. You see Shawn walk past

Y/N: "Do you have instagram?"

S: "Yea, why?"

Y/N: "Can I get it?"

S: "Um.. yea, here it is"

Y/N: "Thanks"

You walk home and DM Shawn

Y/N: Hey

S: Hey

Y/N: can I tell you something

S: Yea, go ahead

Y/n: So, you know how the dance is coming up?

S: Yea?

Y/N: I've got no one who will come with me

S: Um.. gtg

Y/N: Oh, ok. bye

You turn off your phone and go to sleep
