Ch 2 Back to School Dance

          Tonight was the Back to School Dance. In Laf and Herc's dorm,  Laf was attempting to tie a tie. He was getting so flustered his face was turning a scarlet red. Laf finally threw the tie on the floor and yelled. Herc came in the bathroom and tried to calm Laf down. It wasn't really working though. He got so frustrated with Laf he ended up just tying the tie for Laf. In Alex and John's dorm, everyone was ready. John was just playing with his turtles. Alex was going to say stop you'll get turtle hair on you!  But Alex thought wait...turtles don't have hair. 

           Maria and Theodosia came over to the Schuyler dorm to get ready. Angelica was wearing a long pastel pink dress with a lace upper portion. Eliza was wearing a simple pleated light blue long dress. Peggy was wearing a strapless crystal lined long yellow dress. Maria was wearing a long Spanish looking dress. Lastly, Theo was wearing a purple long lace dress.

            Everyone had arrived at the dance, and Angelica and Eliza had noticed Alex there. Angelica went to go flirt with him but she turned and saw her sister's face. Eliza was helpless. Angelica walked over to Alexander and grabbed his arm. She talk to him for awhile then danced with him. 

             "Where are you taking me," Alex asked.

              "I'm about to change your life," Angelica replied.

               "Then by all means, lead the way," Alex said.

                 "Elizabeth Schuyler, It's a pleasure to meet you," Eliza said.

                   "Schuyler," Alex asked.

                    "My sister. I'll leave you to it," Angelica replied.

                     Angelica ran to the bathroom quickly and locked herself in a stall. She started to cry. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. Angelica looked under the stall door to see who it was. It was Peggy. "Angelica," Peggy asked. There was silence. "C'mon Angie, Why are you crying," Peggy asked again.

                      Angelica came out of the stall and said, "I'll never be satisfied. Eliza likes the boy I like." Peggy suddenly felt bad for Angelica and put her arm around her.
