Jaime's POV

We finally reached our destination at around 9:30. We were a far ways out from San Diego and it was all to see one person I knew could help us. My cousin, Weasel.

His real name isn't Weasel. We never call him by his real name for confidential reasons because he's a government worker who's always working in field ops. It wasn't your average field ops but needless to say, he was always acting as an agent, going under pseudonyms to hide his real identity. We all just called him Weasel to avoid any sudden name changes.

I knocked twice on the door, once on the window, once more on the door, paused and knocked twice again on the door before ringing the doorbell. A signal that it was family or at least someone safe. There was loud barking (his dogs; Jessie and James) and then the multiple click-clacks of multiple locks. He opened the door slow and put his hands out as if to stop us.

"Do you see that red line? Step on it and you will be shot." Weasel always was a little paranoid and guarded. I stepped over it with ease. It wasn't hard to avoid and everyone got into the house safely. We heard the door lock behind us and I looked around. Just as dark and guarded in here as always. The glass was bulletproof and tinted. Usual Weasel stuff. My friends looked slightly scared. He lead us down a hall and into a room with wooden panel flooring.

"Every other panel will shock you so step carefully." His voice was blunt and he gestured toward the floor with an expression that said 'go ahead' and we all stood there in shock. He laughed. "I'm just kidding, its all safe." Sighs of relief came before the five of us walked into the room and my friends examined it. It was decorated like any old home would be and we sat down in various places. Valerie and I on either side of Weasel who was sitting on the couch on a laptop. Mike was next to me and Tony and Monica were together on a love seat. I eyed them curiously. I didn't like her.

"So what's her number, Jaime?" I whipped out my phone and read off the number saved under the name 'Anne.' His fingers typed fast into a bulky laptop that was reserved only for government workers. Some time passed and he found our friend.

"So her phone is located in a place with the address 629 Lindley Road." Some more typing and I saw him type the address into another special application on his computer. A map came up with some information on the place.

"It's abandoned. An old warehouse that was originally used for storage." A copy had been printed off for us and he handed it to me. "Here I'm trusting you to get your friend back safely. I'm not able to help at the time, seeing as I have to lie low. Good luck Jaime and remember to tell your friends." I recalled the phrase he often told me that he asked me to tell my friends.

"Oh yeah! Guys, this isn't a joke. He is really a government worker. He's. above killing teenagers, but he is not above shooting anyone who will compromise his position. Keep your mouths shut." They all nodded without a word and we were on our way.

We made our way out the door and everyone was getting out fine. There was a loud cry of pain and everyone turned around. We all saw Monica with a pain stricken expression on her face as she rubbed her back.

"What the hell man!?" She turned toward Weasel who just yanked an arrow out his leg.

"No, you what the hell! Did I not say to avoid the red line! Everyone else did it, why didn't you! I kicked you so you wouldn't be shot in your silly little neck, now leave!" He waved the arrow around dramatically and closed his door. I let a little smile cross my lips as I shook my head.

"Tony, you're shotgun." Valerie said and Tony climbed into the front seat next to me and Mike sat in between Monica and Valerie.

"Why is Tony shotgun?" Monica was getting on my nerves every time she opened her mouth but I held my tongue. Valerie was more feisty anyways.
