Chapter 8

Hailey's POV: 

I picked out a coral peplum top with a gold necklace and leggings for Sam as she took a shower then did her hair. I went to my closet and got myself a stirped dress and some sandals. I curled my hair in to tight banana curls and sprayed some Vanilla Sugar perfume on me before exiting the door. Samantha grabbed my keys, trailing behind me downstairs. "I'll drive Hails." I didn't mind so I just got into the passenger seat and texted Kalin and Myles in a group chat.

Me: Okay boys, we're on our way now.

I took a picture of Samantha driving, her straight hair blowing in the wind.

Myles: She's so beautiful. 

Kalin: Can't wait to see you girl ❤.

Hailey: Me neither❤, and awww Myles. 

We arrived at the fair and we went to go and buy our tickets. "We got this, girls." said Kalin pulling out a ten from his wallet as Myles handed him his ten dollar contribution. He was such a gentleman. I hugged him and thanked him with a kiss on his cheek as we walked hand and hand, Kalin and I and Myles with Sam. We stood infront of the line for the Corkscrew. It was a huge, with crazy spins and drops.I looked at the rollercoaster with a lump in my throat. Samantha looked at me realizing my fear. She looked at me with a look of sympathy. Did I mention that I am TERRIFIED of rollercoasters? I didn't want to embarrass myself and play of as a rollercoaster-loving person. So I whispered into Kalin's ear, "Babe, I'm actually uh terrified of rollercoasters." He looked at me in the eyes and said, "As long as you're next to me you'll be okay, I promise. Squeeze my hand as tight as you want and if you need to, cry into my chest. I got you here with me." I felt secure with him. Samantha looked at me wondering what was happening. "You're going on? You'll be okay?" Sam mouthed. I nodded my head and we walked in to the line of excited people. Finally it was our turn. The carts pulled up to the station and Kalin squeezed my hand, reassuring his safety and protection of me. I got into the cart and sat down, Samantha and Myles sat in the seats in front of us. The rollercoaster slowly started moving up the hill, clicking as it past each track.
