A few hours later at the Hopital

Leon: (Standing outside anxiously)

Doctor: (Came out)

Leon: (Got up) Doctor. How is he?

Doctor: I'm afraid he's having a really high fever Leon. He's burning up.

Leon: Oh god.

Doctor: That's why we might need to keep him here for a few days.

Leon: What?

Doctor: His temperature is 39.9°C Leon. Almost reaching 40. That's quite serious for his age.

Leon: So what's the plan?

Doctor: Well we'll keep him here for a few days and do all we can to reduce the fever. We'll put him in the kids section. But first we need to run some tests on him to check for any severe diseases like dengue. I need you to fill up some paperwork if you would.

Leon: Oh yes of course-

~Phone ringing~

Leon: (Answered it) Hello?

Fran: Hello? Leon. Can you hear me?

Leon: Yes I can Fran, what's wrong?

Fran: I have some bad news.

Leon: What is it?

Fran: Vilu just went into labour.

Leon: She WHAT?!

Fran: We wanted to bring her to the hospital but it was too painful for her and her water broke. So we had to call the ambulance.

Leon: (Held his head) Why the ambulance? She's not hurt.

Fran: Her water was dripping already Dude. Would you want her to give birth in the house itself?! None of us are medical experts here Leon.

Leon: So where is she now?

Fran: She's being taken to a hospital right now. Her dad and Angie went together with her. I think you should go too.

Leon: I can't. I have to take care of Mason. He's having a really high fever. He's gonna have to stay here for a few days and I have to fill up some paperwork for him.

Fran: So you're gonna miss her birth again Leon? Remember what happened the last time?

Leon: This time is DIFFERENT Fran. My SON is sick.

Fran: Your WIFE was in labour yelling in pain.

Leon: I can't be in 2 places at one time Fran. I need to consider what's more important.

Fran: So Vilu isn't important to you?

Leon: She IS. But Mason is too. He's a little kid. I can't just leave him here alone.

Fran: There are doctors and nurses there to take care of him. You can't miss her birth AGAIN Leon.

Leon: I'm sure Vilu would want me to do the right thing.

Fran: And what is that?

Leon: Be with OUR son while he's having a really high fever. You know WHAT? I'll call YOU back. (Ended the call)

Doctor: Violetta is having a child now...?

Leon: (Sighed) Yeah. It's complicated. But I can't be in two places at one time.

Doctor: Alright lets fill out the paperwork quickly then you can go see her.

Leon: No. I'll stay with Mason. He might freak out.
