Same Old History

You know that typical love story that starts at high school. The one with the nerd and the Jock, who come together in one unforgettable story. Well here's another one, and to be honest it still feels so unreal.

You may think that no one believes in Jocks, high school queens, nerds, the weird ones, etc. etc. And its true! Jocks are part of the NBA or the national football league. School Queens are super famous models. And nerds practically run the country. But once in a while there's always something that happens at school.

I'm Emma Summers, and which category I fit into you may ask? I don't know really. Well, I'm super smart. I don't ever get less than a 90%, in anything, but I guess PE is an exception. Physical Education is not my cup of tea. I'm practically a nobody in school, I mean for gods sake I haven't had one boy ask me out and I'm in my senior year of high school. Now with this information you may think that I must be a loner, who goes home crying everyday because of how mean I think the people at school are, blah, blah, blah.

That's not it though. I am friends with the schools two hottest girls. Amber Harrington, the kind. Amber's a blond, is skinny with flawless skin, and is absolutely beautiful. The reasons she's called 'the kind' is because she volunteers for everything. Whether it be pet grooming, car washing, events in school, and the list keeps on going. You want to organize an event in school she's your girl.

Now for my second bestie, Veronica Rustle. Veronica's half white and half black, but she is super cute. She's known as the rebel. Why? Well she's practically on every sports team in the school, and she's the captain of every one of those teams. Trust me, you don't want to pick a fight with her unless you want a few broken bones at the end of the day. She's super feisty, but I guess that's what the guys fall for.

Now despite being best friends with both of them I didn't really notice my unpopularity until I went to this party after school. I don't really go to parties, they aren't my thing, but my friends forced me into this one.

You know what, why don't I just go over my day with you. This way I can tell you all about...well everyone.

I woke up at 7:00am as usual, and got dressed. I chose my loose overalls with a stripped t-shirt underneath.

My friends tell me that I don't have any taste for fashion, can you believe that!

Anyways, I ate my double fiber oat cereal and left the house leaving a note on the fridge telling my mom that I'm going to be late from school. I work for the news team at my school, and I'm their star writer. Well, actually I'm their only writer so I think you can understand.

I started down my driveway to my old truck. Besides the fact that its pretty rusty, and needs a new paint job done it works like a beauty.

"Hey Em!"

Oh no. Well I don't think this is how I wanted to start my story, but here it goes. The person who just called my name is Wesley. Wesley Rush. He's the schools hottest, cutest, and sexiest boy. And he's the football teams captain, which just makes everything even better.

You know those kids that you go to school with, and it's super awkward because you know that you've actually taken showers with them when you were kids. Or those kids you just know since they're your neighbor and you've been family friends with them ever since you were born.

Well that's exactly who Wesley is. The schools hottest boy, who doesn't say a word to me unless its either really stupid, or he really needs me.

I groaned aloud and said "Hey Wesley".

I waved my hand in an awkward gesture, and started towards my truck again.

"So how's it been" he said stopping right beside me, on the way from his house. Which again was right beside mine.
