Sofia, Elena, Amber, and Hildegard retreated with Isabel, Garrick, and the princes.
"What happened?" Garrick asked.
"Amber and Hildegard walked off, and they summoned Daisy and Sara with a fashion emergency," Elena revealed.
Isabel, Garrick, and the princes were grossed out by that.
"Amber, we didn't invite you and Hildegard to come with us, so you can be funny that way," James frowned.
"Just so you know, Dad and I were in town earlier in the week with Señor Jesus, and he said that he and Señora Magda still haven't forgotten what you did the last time we were in Avalor," Hugo chimed in.
"What did she do?" Caleb asked.
"Daisy told us about this realm the Jaquins come from, called Vallestrella," Sofia explained. "Amber wanted to go there very badly, but Daisy said that humans are forbidden in Vallestrella."
"But Amber had to visit Vallestrella, and she took Sofia with her," Elena said. "Then Amber broke into the Terrible Tower in the castle of Vallestrella, she broke a glass window and released an evil moth fairy named Tamarix from a bottle, and then she let Tamarix loose in Avalor."
"And then Tamarix covered the kingdom with weeded vines and trapped Sara and Daisy inside jewels," Hugo finished. "If Amber hadn't wanted to go to Vallestrella so badly, Sara and Daisy wouldn't have gotten kidnapped."
"Mrs. Edelyn told me that she's still angry with Amber for getting Sara trapped, too," Sofia chimed in.
Amber smiled nervously, remembering the last trip to Avalor.
"Well, we mustn't dilly-dally," Garrick declared. "Let's keep going."
Peony wasn't ready to let Hugo go just yet.
"Dad, can Garnet and the kids join us?" Hugo asked. "I don't think Peony is ready to let me out of her sight."
"If Garnet is okay with it," Garrick declared.
"Of course I am," Garnet smiled.
Garnet and her babies joined the royals in going around the park. There were so many wonderfully colorful tigers.
"I guess we know why it's called the Park of Rainbow Tigers," Hildegard said.
"Yes, pretty much every tiger in this park is in every color of the rainbow," Amber said. "There's a yellow tiger with green stripes."
There was indeed a yellow tiger with green stripes. There was also a prickly bush with an opening underneath and at the top. Peony had to go and see it for herself. "What's in there?" she asked herself. She flew up to the top of the bush.
"Peony, wait! That bush is prickly!" Zinnia called to her youngest sister.
But Peony crawled through the hole in the top of the bush. Hugo ran over and peeked through the hole at the bottom of the bush.
"Will she be okay?" Roderick asked.
"So long as she doesn't move while she's in there," Hugo replied. "I'm crawling in to get her." He crawled right under the bush to get Peony.
"Be careful, champ," Garrick said.
While Garrick and some of the young royals were busy, Amber and Hildegard walked a little bit. Suddenly, Hildegard stepped in a little mud puddle.
"Oh, goodness!" Hildegard shrieked. "There's mud on my boot!"
"Oh, what do we do?" Amber asked.
"Let's get the rescue squad," Hildegard suggested.
It had taken a while, but Hugo managed to get Peony out of the bush safely, and he safely crawled out.
"Thank you, Prince Hugo," Garnet smiled. "Peony, I know you're curious about what's in this park, but you can't just crawl into a bush like that," she told her pink baby. "You could've been hurt."
"Doesn't the rescue squad usually take care of this?" Roderick asked.
"Yes, but the first time we were here, the rescue squad was so busy with another emergency that we had to help another tiger ourselves," Derek said.
"And being captain of the rescue squad has to be a big responsibility, so Sara and Daisy will be busy," Sofia chimed in.
Suddenly, Daisy and Sara showed up.
"We're here," Sara said.
"What's going on?" Garrick asked.
"It appears Princesses Amber and Hildegard have summoned us yet again," Daisy replied.
"What is it this time?" James asked.
"I stepped in a mud puddle, and now my boot is dirty," Hildegard revealed.
Everyone groaned in disgust.
"I thought we told you not to send us distress calls unless it's an emergency—and fashion emergencies don't count," Sara frowned.
"And as for you, Princess Amber, my parents haven't forgotten that your extreme desire to visit Vallestrella not only put my home kingdom in danger but got me and Sara kidnapped by that evil moth fairy," Daisy scolded Amber.
"Uncle Vaughn and Aunt Edelyn haven't forgotten that either," Sara joined her.
"Well, enough yammering—we'd better get back to headquarters," Daisy said. "I was in the middle of training someone to care for Tigarrot eggs and baby tigers before we got that call." She and Sara retreated to headquarters.
"Amber, Hildegard, that wasn't funny," Sofia scolded the two princesses.
"This isn't any better than when we went to the Enchanted Animal Park and Hildegard kept blowing on her whistle just to get our attention," Hugo joined her. "Daisy and Sara are training to be co-captains of the rescue squad, and you keep disrupting them with your fashion fiascos."
"Well, enough yammering—let's keep going," Garrick said.
Garrick, Garnet, and the young royals kept walking while the baby Tigarrots were flying along.
"It's bad enough Princess Hildegard got you and Caleb trapped at the Enchanted Animal Park," Roderick whispered to Axel. "Did she and Amber have to beg Sofia to let them come?"
"Amber and Hildegard tend to get pretty jealous of Sofia because she's really close to Hugo," Axel said. "When it comes to spending time with Hugo, Amber and Hildegard will do whatever it takes—even if it means trying to come between him and Sofia."
Amber and Hildegard overheard what Axel and Roderick said, and they were ashamed and hurt by those words.
