There They Go Again

Later, the group went up to a pond, where some tigers were swimming.

"Wow, I didn't know tigers liked to swim," Hugo said.

"Only at the Park of Rainbow Tigers, I presume, champ," Garrick said.

"There's Turquesa," Sofia pointed out.

Turquesa is a blue tiger. It was long ago before Sofia became a princess. Hugo and Axel were at the tiger park for the first time when they accidentally walked into Turquesa's nest, and she chased them up a tree. After that, Hugo had been afraid of tigers, and he hadn't been to the park since then. Years later, Derek insisted the Princely Adventure Club come to the park, and Hugo tried to get over his fear of tigers. The group had run into Turquesa, and Derek scared her by blowing his whistle at her, and she chased the group into a tree. After that, Turquesa had fallen into a ditch, and Hugo saved her.

"Hi there," Turquesa smiled.

Thanks to Sofia's magical amulet and Hugo's magical medallion, they can talk to animals.

"Hi there," Hugo smiled.

"How have you been?" Sofia asked.

"Just great—the tigers and I have been working on a fun dive," Turquesa said.

Turquesa and six other tigers lined up by the water like a rainbow. The tigers stood on their hind legs and dove into the water, forcing a splash so big that the humans were now soaking wet. Everyone was laughing—everyone, except Amber and Hildegard.

"Oh, we're all wet," Hildegard whined.

"Maybe Sara and Daisy can help with this," Amber suggested.

Later, the other royals had changed into dry clothes.

"That's better," Hugo said.

"Where are Amber and Hildegard?" James asked.

"Probably trying to get Sara and Daisy's attention again," Sofia surmised.

Suddenly, Daisy and Sara showed up, but they had knowing frowns on their faces this time.

"Let me guess: you summoned us because you somehow got wet," Daisy guessed.

"Yes, we did," Amber nodded.

"Amber, Hildegard, didn't you bring an extra change of clothes?" Sofia frowned.

"Oh, yes, we did," Hildegard smiled sheepishly.

"Well, that solves your problem," Sara sighed. "Well, we'd better get back to work." She and Daisy went off.

"That's the third time you summoned those girls," James scolded Amber and Hildegard.

"If this keeps up, we'll have to call it a day," Garrick said.

Sofia and the princes groaned—they, Elena, and Isabel were annoyed at Amber and Hildegard for what they did.

Meanwhile, Sara and Daisy retreated to headquarters when they saw their relatives.

"Hello, my Sara," Edelyn smiled.

"Aunt Edelyn! Uncle Vaughn!" Sara beamed.

"Mamá! Papá!" Daisy waved to her parents.

The girls hugged their relatives tightly.

"You're out of work early today, Mamá," Daisy noted.

"Es cierto, mijita," her mother, Magda, agreed. "There wasn't much to do today, so we got out work early."

"Ugh, if only we could get out of work early today," Daisy groaned.

"What happened?" her father, Jesus, asked.

"Sofia and Hugo have invited their Princely Adventure Club to join them here, and Princesses Amber and Hildegard came, too," Sara replied. "Those two girls have summoned us three times with fashion emergencies."

"Princess Amber of Enchancia?" Vaughn asked. "I still haven't forgotten how her desire to visit Vallestrella got you trapped."

"I still remember her putting Avalor in danger—not to mention getting my daughter trapped," Magda frowned.

"Mija, Princess Amber may be the sister of the princess who saved us from Shuriki, but that doesn't mean I respect her," Jesus said.

"I don't respect her either, Papá—and I certainly don't respect that Princess Hildegard either," Daisy said.

"Well, if you know about their fashion emergencies, why do you keep going to help them?" Vaughn asked.

"We're members of the rescue squad, and it's our job to make sure our visitors and the tigers are safe," Sara replied.

"Plus, what if those girls are in real trouble and we don't show up?" Daisy chimed in. "We could get fired."

Captain Stern overheard the conversation and said, "Ah, I've seen this happen before, miladies. I remember a year after I started working here, some kids were playing pranks on my rescue workers by calling for help several times. I told my rescuers that it was okay for them to ignore the next call because you know what they say: nobody believes a liar, even when they are telling the truth."

"Thanks, Captain," Sara grinned.
