Once the two princes were taken to headquarters, Daisy and Sara treated their injuries. Sara wrapped up Roderick's ankle while Daisy wrapped Hugo's wrist and put his arm in a sling.
"Thanks," Hugo and Roderick smiled.
"Anytime," Sara and Daisy chorused.
"We're so sorry this happened," Amber said. "If we hadn't summoned you with our fashion emergencies, you would've raced to this one immediately."
"Yes, we're very sorry," Hildegard sighed.
Sara and Daisy were disappointed in Amber and Hildegard, but they knew the girls deserved to be forgiven.
"It's all right," Daisy shrugged.
"It's like Captain Stern said: nobody believes a liar, even if they're telling the truth," Sara grinned.
"We know that now," Amber grinned.
"Well, I think we'd better call it a day," Garrick said. "Thank you for helping us."
"No sweat," Daisy smiled.
Once the group exited the park, Axel said, "Roderick, I'm really sorry your and Caleb's first adventure didn't go so well."
"Aw, I wouldn't worry so much, Axel—even if Hugo and I spent 20 minutes in that gulley with a couple of sprains," Roderick shrugged.
"Yeah, I loved seeing those Tigarrots," Caleb grinned.
"Well, we'd better get home," Garrick said.
Even with a sprained ankle, Roderick was able to ride home on a flying horse with Caleb. Hildegard, Derek, Zandar, and Khalid each rode him in their coaches. But there was one little problem.
"Wait, how can Hugo ride Electra home with a sprained wrist?" James asked.
"Oh, I didn't think about that," Hugo frowned.
But Sofia had an idea. "I have an idea that can help," she said. "I gave Hugo the power to shrink whenever he wants when I was trapped inside my amulet. I'll let him borrow my amulet for the rest of the day. He'll shrink down to the size of a Wee Sprite, so he can hitch a ride in his dad's pocket."
Hugo thought about it. "That sounds good," he smiled.
Sofia took off her amulet and put it on Hugo.
"I wish to be small," Hugo said. Then he shrunk down to the size of a Wee Sprite. Garrick lowered his hand to pick him up.
"Are you sure you're okay with this, champ?" Garrick asked.
"I'll be fine, Dad," Hugo nodded.
"Okay," Garrick said.
"Be safe, Hugo," Sofia said.
"Thanks, Sofie," Hugo smiled.
Garrick safely put Hugo in his pocket. He and Axel each got on a horse and rode home with Electra behind them. James, Amber, and Sofia got onto a coach and rode home.
Hugo and his family had gotten home safely. When night fell, Hugo was in bed, talking to Sofia through his Enchantlet.
"Well, Sofie, I've thought about taking the Adventure Club on another adventure—after Roderick and I have recovered from our injuries," Hugo said.
"Any idea where to go?" Sofia asked.
"No idea," Hugo said. "Do you want to help me pick out a destination?"
"Sure, I'll come over tomorrow," Sofia said.
"And I'll give your amulet back in the process," Hugo said.
"Okay," Sofia nodded.
Suddenly, Garrick said, "Okay, boys, bed time."
"All right, Dad," Hugo and Axel chorused.
"Good night, Sofie," Hugo said.
"Good night," Sofia said. Then she and Hugo stopped their conversation.
Hugo lay down in his bed with his wrist in a fresh sling.
"Do you think you'll be okay, baby bro?" Axel asked.
"I'll be fine so long as I don't toss and turn," Hugo said.
"Okay, champ," Garrick smiled. "Well, good night, boys."
"Good night, Dad," Hugo and Axel chorused.
Once Garrick closed the doors, Hugo and Axel each snuggled in their beds and fell asleep.
Amber and Hildegard learned a big lesson: it wasn't okay to summon Daisy and Sara at the tiger park with fashion emergencies. The former two sure learned the hard way that it could cause trouble, and they never wanted to do that again.
