'So...your gonna be gone for a while now, aren't you?'

I could feel the cold wind hitting on my face, and reply, 'Yeah'

There was a moment of silence on the other line, and I could only hear the tree's rustle in the forest.

'Are you really leaving to the airport?' he asked, and i could sense him frowning by his tone.

Aiden's my boyfriend, and he's the only person I wouldn't want to get caught by.

Actually, yes. I lied to him, but it's a great opportunity I can't miss out on.

'Yeeeeeah...' I smiled, and the twigs of branches start to cover my screen.

'Um, you know...' I frowned, getting abit lost within the huge forest the covered my path.

'I'll call you later, sorry' I could hear the other line murmuring, 'Yeah, have a safe trip'

I take off the earphones, and relax by deeply breathing.

'Alright, now where the heck am I?' The map showed nothing helpful,

and I just drived safely into the woods. 'Yes Linda, let's just DRIVE into the enormous tree's. Hopefully,

I'll be able to see the village' Talking to myself, got me much more better, It's really just a habit.

'Ah! There it is'  I call out, smiling proudly as if i just won a gold medal at primary school.

I could see the village, and the village residents and I stopped to wonder to myself.

Why do these people live so far away, especially over the forest...

I didn't understand, but I just smiled widely, getting myself out of the car.

'Hi! I'm new here, and i was wondering if you know where this building is?' I ask a teenager boy, with his back facing me. He turned around, and out of shock...my eyes widen with fear.

He has huge dark bags under his eyes, and his eyes look bloody red as if he didn't sleep for weeks. He didn't especially say anything, except point to the other side,

and I turn around to see a small building, not anything like those workplace buildings.

'T-thanks for your help, and sorry if i disturbed you...' I mutter and quickly fast walk my way up there.

What's with that guy... I frown and knock on the doors. There was no answer,

and i remembered my senior telling me to call his phone. I open my handbag,

and take out my phone sparkling as the sun beamed. I push in the numbers and put the phone close to my ears.

Brrrp brrrrp, brrrrp brrrrp, brrrrp brrrrrp...

'Ah, hey Lucas!' I greet, and hear the other line responding to me cheerfully too.

'Could you open the door for me, I arrived here already. Although i knocked,

no one responded anyways' I explained him the situation, and had a little talk before going in.

'Hahaha. I'll get the door now' he ended the call and i stood there waiting on the white concrete floors. The door creaked open and I see my senior smiling. 'Pleasure to work with you Linda!'

I loved his beautiful smile, and i smiled back at him with a pleasant face. 'Me too!'

We walked together in the large corridors, and i tugged on my mustard coloured sweater.

'This is pretty thrilling...' My voiced echo-ed. 'The place is much bigger than in looks outside...'

I laughed, covering my shrunken squeaky voice. 'Yeah it is...Are you sure your ready for this job?'

He asked as we walked to his office. 'Of course I am!' I responded without hesitation.

'You know I love the studies of psychology' I pouted.

'The job ain't so easy, I'm really worried' He smiled, but his face was filled with anxiety.

Lucas is only 23-years-old, really great to be working here in his age,

and I'm just 2-years below him. 'Don't you worry!' I wink at him, and strongly walk forwardly.

Lucas smirked and guided me to his place with relaxing shoulders.

'EH!!!!!!!' I frown, almost not believing what i just heard.

'If you want, I'll put you to the job.' He grinned, and I looked at him with suspicion.

'I'm serious!' He laughed, taking a sip from his warm cuppucino.

'This cafe is pretty good...' he looked around while I just sat there with a smirking face.

'The customers are looking at you, calm down' he frowned at me, but in a good way.

'I'm SO SO SO HAPPY!' I leap into the air, this had to be the best day ever.

'Theres conditions though' I immediately alert myself and sit back down with a serious face.

'Firstly, you can't tell anyone about our research. Secondly, you can ABSOLUTELY NOT tell where your working' I smile with excitement, 'I don't even know what we're researching yet!' hopefully saying that sentence so he could tell me immediately.

'Minds. Minds that the psychopaths have' I started to get abit frightened from that, but i listened carefully. 'These psychopaths we're researching, are supposed to be put down. You could say, executed. Our head professor decided to hide these people away in the laboratory we're working in,

so we could study them, besides...they're gonna get killed anyways' he seriously frowned, and so did I. 'But...isn't that cruel?' I wondered and Lucas just shrugged.

'It's better if they are researched, that way they'll be some use of society' he says.

I nodd...

'But professor, just what if... what IF' I stare at him, and the air breaks into silence.

'...they escape?' Lucas lauged, 'I'm sure that'd never happen, we have a few guards as well.

Our head professor is a professional' Lucas saw me frowning and ensured,

'And, if your really worried, I don't want to put you infront of danger,

so you really have the chance to qui- ' he encouraged, but I shaked my head.

'Absolutely no' I beamed cutting off his lines.

He smiled at me softly, expressing tenderness towards me.
