Eliza POV

"I'm sorry WHAT?!" I screeched through the phone.

"Alex and John just showed up at my door and arrested me. I swear I didn't do it 'Liza. You know me. I would never. I was framed!" Angelica sobbed silently. Before I could say anything else, the line went dead. Soon after, there was a knock at the door. Fuming, I walked over to see who it was. I was greeted by the two people I did not want to see at the moment.

"Eliza, let me explain-" Alex started to say before I cut him off.

"WHAT THE HELL ALEX?! JOHN! WHAT. THE. HELL?!" I screamed before collapsing on the floor crying. John leaned down and hugged me sympathetically. I wanted to push him away, but my body did not allow me to.

"What is going on down here?" Peggy questioned while coming down the stairs. Maria trailed close behind.

"ANGELICA GOT ARRESTED BECAUSE APPARENTLY EVERYONE THINKS SHE TRIED TO KILL YOU!" I sobbed. Suddenly, the door burst open.

"I heard yelling. Is everything alright?" Herc asked, looking frantic.

"DAMMIT! WE HAD TO ARREST ANGELICA!" Alex yelled before collapsing on the floor with me.

"Merde," Laf whispered. He had been hiding behind Herc ever since they walked in the door.

"Why? Just why?" Maria questioned in utter disbelief. John set his hand on his boyfriend's shoulder before answering sadly.

"All the evidence leads back to Angelica."

"I DIDN'T WANT TO ARREST HER! I KNOW SHE WASN'T GUILTY! I HAD NO CHOICE THOUGH!" Alex yelled between tears. This caused the whole room to erupt.

Peggy POV

I've had just about enough of this.

"WOULD EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP!" I shouted, interrupting everyone. "DID ANYONE EVER THINK TO ASK ME WHO DID IT? YOU KNOW, BECAUSE MAYBE I REMEMBER?!"

"WELL DO YOU?" Eliza said.

"Well.......," I replied, my voice trailing off. John threw his hands up in the air with frustration.

"Well I'm sorry that he was completely covered from head to toe! ANYWAY, I do remember that his voice was gravely and hoarse. It was intimidating," I added.

"He?" Alex asked. I nodded before continuing my short description.

"His breathe smelled of alcohol. Scratch that, it reeked of alcohol. And he kept saying that I took something from him. I've never even met the guy!" I huffed, crossing my arms.

Maria POV

This can't be happening.

Peggy POV

"What else do you remember Peggs?" Alex inquired, slowly picking himself up off the floor. I sucked in a sharp breathe before losing my balance and falling on top of Maria. She caught me and placed me in front of her.

"What is it love?" she asked, her face lined with concern. That pet name broke me.

"H-he called m-me a," I began. I tried to finish my sentence, but the word I wanted to say felt vial on my tongue.

"What did he call you baby?" Maria questioned frantically.

"A fag," I whispered, my voice wavering and eyes falling to the floor. When I looked back up at Maria, her whole expression was different. It appeared like something inside her had snapped. She dropped my arms (which she had been gripping tightly) and grabbed her car keys off the island. Before storming out the door, John grabbed her by the wrist.

"Where are you going?" he questioned.

She looked him straight in the eye before answering.

"To do something I should've done a long time ago."

Maria POV

I slammed the door behind me, ignoring my friend's protests. I was too furious to listen. I pulled my phone out of my pocket as soon as I got in the elevator.

RedIsMyAesthetic: Hey Sammy. It's Maria. I need a favor.

ForShAmE: Mar! It's been a while! How's life treating you?

RedIsMyAesthetic: Right now? Pretty shitty. I'd love to catch up, but I can't at the moment. Now, does he still live at the same house?

ForShAmE: Oh. Yeah. He does. Why? Are you coming to LA? What's going on?

RedIsMyAesthetic: I'm gonna kill him.

I put my phone away as I got into my car. Funny, I hadn't even realized that I had already left the apartment building. After shoving the key into the ignition, I whispered something to myself.

"Heads up James. I'm a dead girl walking."
