"Yes?"
The bartender smirked as she set three shot glasses in front of me.Lexi is Chelsea's older sister so I've known her for years. I never knew she was a bartender but I guess it worked to my advantage.
"What are you doing here Lex?"
She turned to me while pouring another drink across the bar and yelled over the music.
"Shouldn't I be asking YOU that?"
My face turned red in the dim neon glow. After noticing my embarrassment, she drew in closer and leaned in seductively.
"Don't worry kid, have as much as you want. Drinks on me."The next thing I knew I was holding up a wall drinking top shelf liquor near the dance floor. I've never been much of a dancer but just the right girl always seems to change that. The right woman. I gazed at the crowd searching for prey
No.
Hell no.
Eh.
Why am I even here?"Hey sexy," whispered a strangely familiar voice only inches away from my ear. I hadn't noticed her hand on my shoulder. "Come on Lexi aren't you supposed to be wo-"
I turned my head and realized that my friend was still making a martini behind the bar. I finally met the woman standing next to me's gaze and realized I had completely confused her.
"I'm so sorry, I just thought you'd be my friend trying to-"
She giggled seductively and slid her hand back down my arm.
"No it's fine! Really."I couldn't really distinguish her face but I could tell that this woman was beyond beautiful. We just stood there flirting for a while as the music played. Even her name was beautiful. Juliana. Juliana was going to school in my town to be a writer. She mentioned having a side job in my neighborhood to pay the bills but I wasn't exactly sure. By that time we were both a little more than tipsy dancing closely. As she started grinding in front of me I slid my hands onto her hips.
Before I knew it I had her against her bedroom wall. Everything seemed so blurry and abstract but I still remember. She had dark brown hair halfway down her back that contrasted against her fair skin. Her lips were plump and a deep cherry red. Intense and shadowy green eyes stared deeply into mine I was I ran my hands down the curves of her skin tight black dress.
Who was she?
