Watching the rambunctious children dart up the stairs with Patricia close after them made Harrison's stomach churn, he couldn't shake the fact that maybe setting children lose in this place with close to little supervision was just him feeding the predator. Taking the last few steps down the stairs he had begun to walk on the teenager took a loud and shaky breath as he pushed open the large wooden doors into the bottom floor of the school,
'What was Patricia thinking.. Searching all of this on her own..' He thought, the upper floor was just a ton of classrooms but, the bottom floor had a gymnasium and cafeteria as well as offices, a library, and classrooms, you'd never be able to find anything in this place unless you knew where to look. This small things just fueled to his anger over the situation, they weren't even directly associated with finding Mara yet it was just the fact that they were there that bothered him. A search party could offer to find his sister and all it would do would make him mad that people thought they were more capable of finding her, or that all they wanted was the fame of finding her and didn't even care for the actual human being he had put all his hard work into to take care of.
"Mara.." He called out into the empty hallway, not really expecting a response at all. Harrison looked down the evergoing hallway and wrinkled his nose at the thought of having too search through all of these places, it was just stupid.
'Mara's probably back at home on the couch leaving messages on my phone. There was no way that she had somehow gotten lost..' Harrison thought to himself as he pulled out his cellphone, there were no messages, then again he was in a school so he probably just didn't have reception... full bars. Pushing in the wooden doors of the classrooms with light aggression Harrison found himself slowly calming down though he would just go on to deny any reason to be calm anyways.
"Mara!" He called louder as he stood within the break between the two halls of classrooms, his eyes lingering on the staircase as he walked further and pushed in the doors of the bathroom and then down the main hall towards the entrance, checking the infirmary, offices, and cafeteria as he hurried through the main hall. If he glanced up at the upper classes he would see beams of lights from the others, wondering if they had found anything at all racked up his conscience with nerves. Seeing them entering the bathroom, the lights disappearing he sighed before turning on his heel and wandering down towards the last few rooms located in the school. His fingers brushed against the brick walls that were covered in layers of paint as he walked past the library and language rooms, not even bothering to check as he continuously called out the name of his sister. His voice dragged on so much that he felt and sounded like a broken recorder, it had only been a few minutes and he already was struggling to move down this section of the school. The air was heavier here since the airconditioning was constantly being blown out by the gym teachers and the smell of chemicals and abundant cleaners filled the thick air as the janitors closets were also located on this far end. Peeking into the shoe closet of the gym and back kitchen for the cafeteria Harrison felt his worth dwindle down as he entered the music room. He looked into closets that where empty besides boxes of paper and could swear he was going crazy by now. After all he could hear noises of squeaking and squirming when he entered one of the box closets,
"Mara? Are you in here?" The squeaking did all but grow more frantic before almost fading away entirely, had he heard a mouse? Slamming the door and walking deeper into the music room, past the cages of instruments and boards full of note scores and simple measures, after all band practices for all grades k-12 were held here so there was a decent reason it was one of the best rooms of the school and district for that matter. He kicked the wooden door, a few more squeaks returned as he looked at the wall of boxes, this room was shorter than the other one, or so it seemed. With a sigh he walked away, the sound of running went through the back staircase and the slamming of two doors followed.
