The death of a Jedi is a tragic thing. It symbolizes the end of light and hope in the galaxy. When there is no light, there can be only darkness, and when only darkness remains, life comes to a close. For those seeking darkness, life is meaningless.

A gate of pure unharnessed power has been opened. A force sensitive has been born. The birth of this being, this being of extraordinary power, has caused a rift to appear. A rift between light and dark. A wormhole sucking in and feeding on power unleashed from these beings. A rift who's hunger can only be cured by one.

One fateful day on Dorin, a Kel Dor was born. His name was Plo Koon. Born of the Koon family, he had a strong connection to the force, a connection that he shared with his Uncle. This connection had not become a realization until his 2nd birthday. This day was the day his mother and father were killed by sith assassins. The assassins were not looking for them, they were after Plo. After the assassins had slayed his parents, they came for him. But something prevented them from killing him. Something more powerful than they could have possibly imagined. Electric Judgment. This forbidden technique that usually takes decades to master, had come forth from this child in an immense surge of sudden power that no Jedi had ever seen before. Plo, overcome with sadness and hatred, had killed the pair of assassins and had destroyed his home. After sensing this massive source of power Plo's Uncle came to the house only to find it in ruins with Plo and his twin brother, standing over the corpses of their dead parents. From then on Plo's Uncle vowed to train him. He found it strange that Plo had force abilities, and yet his twin brother, who was born at the same time, did not. But he took them both nonetheless. After the long swoop bike ride to his Uncle's mountain home, he got the brothers a fresh pair of robes and a warm meal. He had built his home inside an abandoned Baran Do temple. This temple is where the Jedi cult Baran Do conducted their rituals. Plo's Uncle found this place to be a source of great power, and thought it would be the only place suitable enough to train his nephew.

You can never truly be alone. There is always something there. Not many people realize that until it's too late. Only the strong are able to make sense of it. They alone can change the future.

After a decade of training, Plo Koon was ready. He was ready to go to Coruscant and face the council. His Uncle feared that they would not accept him because of his age. But Plo feared nothing. Ever since that day ten years ago. He lost all fear because he knew he had more power than most Jedi. Because the force was always with him, he was never alone. On the day he left for Coruscant with his Uncle he, for the first time, felt sadness. Even though his parents had died, he knew that when they died, they had become part of the planet. He knew that wherever he went, his parents would make sure it did not storm. He knew that his parents would bring him luck and triumph. But now that he was leaving, he was not sure his parents would follow. He was not sure they wanted to leave. And he would not make them. He would leave behind a promise. His promise was to become a Jedi Master and to make sure that whom ever had sent those assassins to his parents, would face his electric judgment. He promised that he would do this, or die trying. When they left the planet, he sat with his brother at the back of the ship, gazing out upon the arid landscape. Gazing out upon the jagged mountains and the deep narrow chasms that snaked through the drought stricken planet. They were about to leave the only place they ever had to call home. They were about to leave the only place that Plo had felt happy. He hoped this trip was worth all this sadness that it was causing.

Sadness is a journey that your mind takes. This journey can lead you to power, or it can lead to your downfall. If you choose to harness it, then you will be rewarded. But with that reward comes great sacrifice.

Plo tried to distract himself by remembering all of the training and tests he had done to get to where he was now. He had accomplished so much. And yet, he became unsure if the council would accept him. He was too old and much too conflicted. Plo struggled to get rid of the pull to the dark side. With his home still in mind, all he could feel was sadness. After what seemed to be hours of waiting. He was called back to the council room. Plo felt terror and anxiety as the council stared at him. His Uncle was in the corner of the room with a blank expression on his face. Before he had the chance to speak, a Jedi master known as Yoda stepped forward. He was small, and green, with very long ears, and custom made Jedi robes for his size. Yoda began to ask him why he seeked the Jedi council, Plo told him the story of how his parents died and how his force abilities were revealed. This concerned Yoda, as well as the other Jedi. They were clearly taken back at the mention of this forgotten Jedi art, the Electric Judgement. Yoda began to speak of this technique that was banned in the Jedi Order due to its sith-like nature. After much back and forth conversation between the the Masters, Plo Koon was allowed into the order and would be a padawan to a Jedi master known as Sifo Dyas. Plo Koon was happy to be a part of the Jedi, but was also sad. He was not allowed to continue his training with his Uncle. Confused, he said his goodbyes. The following day, Plo began the construction of his first lightsaber. The lightsaber was the most important part of his training, and he wouldn't be able to move on without it. When he finished, he had a orange hued blade with a hilt made of hardened steel. He was finally ready to begin his training with Master Sifo Dyas.
