Ashton's POV

I sent Cat home so she could shower and get some food a little over 15 minutes ago. Almost right after she left Michael text me saying he was coming to see Abby, so I told him it was okay to come since I was just here by myself. Waiting for Michael I started to doze off when I heard something move which was out of the ordinary considering I was the only one in the room aside from Abby but she's "asleep". I brushed it off until I heard the noise again. I looked around the room; first at the door to see if maybe Michael or even a nurse or doctor might have been walking in, but nothing. As I looked towards the bed I saw Abby's hand move slightly..... Was she really moving? I watched to see if she moved again or if I was just seeing things. Her finger moved again. I immediately texted Michael since he was already on his way here and then called Cat right after I hit send. When Cat answered I wasted no time telling her what I saw, "Could she really be waking up?" I asked hopeful. I could tell Cat was in shock. She frantically told me that she was on her way to the room before hanging up.

Cat's POV

Ash called me and I couldn't believe what he was saying. I hadn't seen her smile in so long; the thought of seeing her smile again or even hearing her talk to me again made me want to cry tears of joy. Michael and I got into the elevator and although it felt like forever we were soon on Abby's floor and running into her room. I saw Ash stick his head out yelling for a nurse. All I could think was Please, let her be waking up I need my best friend back. As we got closer to her room a nurse ran in right in front of us. Running in, out of breath I see the nurse towering over Abby in the bed and I heard a faint cough. I almost cried instantly. Could she really be awake? I could tell Ash was in shock he looked up at me tears welling in his eyes. I finally turned back to look at Michael and saw that his expression mirrored Ash's. I walked further into the room to see Abby in the bed her eyes open but she looked terrified. She looked to me and asked one question. "Who are these guys?" My heart sank why didn't she remember Ash and Michael..... She should at least remember Michael after all the things he did to her... right?

Abby's POV

I opened my eyes to see Cat in the room and two different guys that I didn't know. One of them looked familiar but I can't remember did I know him, and if I did why can't I remember? Cat looked at the nurse confused but I could tell she was worried. The nurse asked her to step outside so they could talk; she left me in the room with people I don't know. Why would she do that? The one with the curly hair came over to my bed and gave me a hug as he said, "I've missed you so much Abby, you have no idea how much time Cat spent in this room with you." Confused I asked him one question, " I'm sorry, but, who are you?" I could see that his gaze shifted from me to the boy with lilac hair who hasn't said anything yet. When he turned back to me he looked sad; but why would he be sad? Almost right after I heard Cat's voice call for someone named Ash. The curly headed boy walked out of the room leaving me in the room only with the boy with lilac hair. He just kept looking at me; it was slightly uncomfortable. To break the tension I looked at him and began to ask the same question I had asked the boy I could assume was "Ash". "Who are you?" As the words registered to him I could see in his eyes that he was hurt by the question. He walked over to my bed and sat next to me as he reached for my had Cat walked back into the room and he shot up from where he was previously sitting. Cat soon replaced the boy with lilac hair on my bed. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes she asked me a series of questions,

"Do you remember me?" She asked seeming unsure.

"Yes, Cat of course I remember you. We've been friends for ever." As the last words left my mouth she sighed as a sign of relief.

"Do you know who these guys are?" She asked looking kind of worried.

"N-," I began to say before the boy with lilac hair interrupted.

"Cat she doesn't remember either of us." He said sounding heart broken.

Cat sighed again, but in a different way, almost sounding disappointed. One more question followed, "Do you know what happened and why you're here?"

I felt confused I began to explain what I could remember, "All I can remember is a white light and what sounded like a car." I said finally realizing what happened. My eyes widened as I shot up, "Was I in a car accident?" I asked Cat simply nodded. She looked at me with tears still in gm her eyes and said something I hoped I would never hear, " Abby you've been in a coma for 3 months." After hearing the words leave her mouth I couldn't find any words to make sense of what I was just told. I sat there in the bed in pure shock. Not one word has left my mouth and everyone in the room was still watching me. What do I say?
