Not a day passed I didn't think of you
always wondering what things you do
but a mocked laugh came from me
i know i never crossed your mind even a wee.
then i saw her pretty face in the picture
the love in both your eyes, for me is a torture
she is evidently your happiness
how can i compete with that closeness?
you said she is your life now
i know that is really your heart's vow
how i badly wish i was in her place
then reality struck me; that won't ever be the case.
this may sound ,martyr for the rest
but for you all i want is the best
though that excludes me totally
i'll just bear it and weep silently.
so maybe if i can't get over
i'll just love from a distance in a cover
pretendung you can't affect me anymore
hiding my feelings deep in my heart's core.
