Turning my alarm clock off, stretching and reaching for my leg brace. Adjusting it to make sure it's secured on my left leg. Getting up and opening the curtains smiling at the feeling of the warm sunshine. Looking out seeing our families little barn. Doing my morning routine in the bathroom and getting dressed.
(Outfit up above and imagine she has a metal brace on her left leg. Like from the movie "Forrest Gump")
Going to the kitchen I see mama making breakfast and papa reading a newspaper.
"Good morning mama" giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning sweet heart." Handing me a plate of breakfast.
"Good morning papa." Kissing his cheek and sitting down.
"Good morning sweetie. You going to take midnite for a ride today?" While taking his plate from mama.
"Yes, I'm probably going to take him to our secret place. Which reminds me mama can you help me make some sandwiches for my picnic please." I ask while wiping my mouth and pushing my now finished plate aside.
"Of course dearie why don't you go get midnite ready and I'll have it packed up by then." She says while bringing out the needed ingredients. Agreeing with her i get up and go outside. Going to the stables I get my metal oiler .
(A/N: I don't know what it's called)
Making sure my brace is working smoothly, then opened up midnite's stable.
"Hey buddy, did you have a good night."
*NNEEEEIIIGGHH* he answers while I get his saddle situated petting his white mane. Bring him out and getting my step stool. 1...2...3 pulling myself up taking a breath once I get on.
"Ok, mid let's go to mama." Giving him a gentle boost to move. We see mama with papa already with our stuffs outside on the porch. Riding close to the rail and securing my back pack on.
"Remember Rosa do not go near the-
"-Dark Shadows Forest I know papa I won't . I gotta go bye see you at dinner." After there farewells me and midnite were off picking up speed along the way. Half way there we slow down to enjoy the view.
"Ahhh it never gets old." Sighing looking around. Until i heard a noise a little bit away from us.
*NNEEIIGGHH*
"Woah, boy calm down it's alright." Combing his mane to relax him. Shaking it off we continued the rest of the way having an eerie feeling.
Arriving at the sight going through the vines and coming up to our secret lake. Carefully dismounting from midnite. Looking around tying mid to his tree I set up the blanket and bring out the snacks giving an apple to midnite. I go over to the edge of the pond holding onto a rock to sit down stretching out my leg. Enjoying the peace until I heard midnite neighing like crazy.
"Mid! Are you alright!? Hold on I'm coming....ugh calm down mid just listen to my voice!" Trying to get up end see why he's acting like that. Until I heard a twig snap turning to see what it is. Only to slip on the rock I was using to support myself with and hit my head.
Last thing I saw was the outline of a huge blurry figure.
