Chapter 1- Inkwell Isle

"Inkwell Isle, huh? Sounds like a good place to hide out for a while." I said.
"Yeah, they'll never find us there." Zach smiled.
"You never know, they might find us." Kage said.
I started a connection with Kage.
'Kage, Zach's still young, he's 5. Give him some hope.'
'He should know that they might find us, and you're 11, you shouldn't be burdened with such a responsibility. '
'I chose this! I chose this responsibility!'
I ended the connection. Even though Zach and I look in our late teens, he's 5, I'm 11. We don't age normally. You see, Zach and I are...illegal science experiments. Dragon and rare human DNA, mixed with some solution to make us invincible and stronger than anyone. We escaped when we were ready, when we were, finished, per say. We met Kage when we were escaping.
I couldn't take it anymore. "I'm going to sleep, it's late." I sighed. "Kay, tomorrow, we'll go to Inkwell Isle." Zach said. After Zach and Kage fell asleep, I went for a walk, to clear my head.
"Damn it..." I growled.
"I can't protect him from what we were supposed to be,  weapons." I sighed.
That's right, Zach and I were supposed to be weapons. But, I let that past go. So did Zach. I walked back to the campsite and laid down, slowly falling asleep.
Inkwell Isle, a new life.
[Next Day]
I gazed at the large island. "Come on." I said, flying down. "Kay." Zach said. That's when our life on Inkwell Isle began. And our lives changed forever. All with a roll of two die, a bet, and none other than the Devil himself.
