"So what do you think?"
"I don't know Alex like it's tempting but really? What are we going to do in Colombia?"
"My abuelitos have been wanting to see us, you know how much they adore you. Plus it's spring break Maya, please. You know this week is dances and festivals. Think of all the fun we'll have."
"You know how I love them but it's just I'm not in the mood. I was planning on catching up on sleep."
"Don't be such a fucking pussy dude. We've been studying our asses off. We literally have 2 more months of hell and we'll finally become doctors as we always dreamt of. Please Maya do this for us. For you."
"Is Sabrina going?"
As soon as those words came out my mouth. A very happy Sabrina comes in, as if she was at the door waiting for her name to be called.
"Of course I am babygirl, what type of best friend would I be if I wouldn't."
"I thought you had shows in Milan this week. I was going to use your absence as an excuse pendeja."
"Well too fucking bad. I am here and we gon get fucked up. And Milan can wait. I'd rather spend time with my further doctor babies. God I can't believe it, in less than two months ale will become a cardiologist and you Maya a pediatrician. And not to forget I'm going to become a Victoria Secret Angel."
"YOU WHAT?!?!" Alex and I said in unison.
"THATS RIGT YOU STUPID WHORES, THIS CUTE ASS BITCH RIGHT HERE WILL BECOME THE MOST PAID VICTORIA SECRET ANGEL IN HISTORY!!!"
We all were so fucking happy for Sabrina. She had accomplished so much at such a young age. We all did, Alex was only 24 and I 23 and we were a two months away from getting our doctorates degree, Sabrina was 24 and already the highest paid model in the world.
"Just so y'all know, we leaving tomorrow at 6 am so y'all better haul your asses home and pack." Alex said basically kicking us out of her apartment.
"Que pinches mamadas alex, you honestly think it's fair I only have like what 7 hours to pack." Sabrina whined.
"No seas pinche mamona. Be ready by 6 or I'm leaving yo ass." Alex said as we left her apartment, basically yelling it.
As we parted our ways I began to drive home. It wasn't so far from Alex's place. As I got home and packed dresses, shorts, swimsuits, any other clothing I thought would be used and the basics. I immediately knocked out.
*BEEEEP BEEEEEP MOTHEFUCKER*
My alarm had gon off. I took a quick shower and headed to Sabrina's place to pick her. The bitch was carrying 3 huge luggages. Unbelievable.
"You do realize we're leaving for a week not a year right?"
"Oh shut up asshole and drive. I'm still pretty pissed, this isn't even half of what I even wanted to bring." She says annoyed.
We headed to Alex's place. Next thing you know we were at the airport waiting for our flight. Honestly we could've arrived at 8 and we'd still be waiting. Fucking Alex making us wake up so fucking early. As we waited at a cafe. I couldn't help but notice and guy checking Alex out. It was as if she were the only person in the room.
"Ay chhh" I whispered to Alex.
"Guy staring at you, three o'clock. Don't make it obvious."
Sabrina being the idiot turns to her left and not her right. Clearly making it obvious.
"There's no one." Sabrina said confused.
"When she says '3 o'clock' she means to the right Sabrina." Alex says trying so hard not to laugh.
"Which '3 o'clock' then?" Sabrina says
At that moment I lost it. Soon after Alex joins in.
"Baby there's only one 3 o'clock" Alex said in between laughs.
"Flight 369 now boarding. I repeat flight 369 now boarding."
As we left I looked for the man but it was as if he was no where to be found even though I had seen him only a couple seconds ago.
*Skip flight and landing*
"Mmmm yes, I kissed the breeze and the sun" Alex says as she engulfs the air, the fresh air.
It was pretty sunny so I'm actually glad I packed appropriately. Unlike last time we thought it was cold so we brought sweats, jeans and sweaters when in reality it was 100 degrees .
"Nana and papa are waiting for us guys, apúrensen pendejassss" Alex said, eager to see her grandparents after so long. With school and all we hardly have time to vacation so it was rare it had been a long time since Alex had seen her grandparents. She would come would at least twice a month.
"NANA! PAPA! Cuanto tiempo sin verlos." Alex said so happy.
"Ay mira a mi preciosura. Como ha estado mi nieta favorita." Alex's grandpa pampered her making Alex blush at how childish they made her feel.
Soon we drive to their house which was more like a mansion. We all knew her grandad was in the mafia but we never spoke about it.
"Okay chamacitas. Tienen tiempo para arreglarse y pienarse. Regreso en 2 horas para recogerlas y irnos a la plaza para comer y disfrutar."
And with Nana had left and we had gotten to work.
How amazing would our night come to be?
