The New Girl

"Get up your gonna be late for your first day!" my mom screamed into my room.

I turn and look at my clock and it's only 5:30, "Mom, I have 2 hours still!" but I know my mom if I didn't get up now she will get me up.

I get out of bed and brush my hair that I straightened the day before and I put my new pair of jeans on from Rue 21 and my gray hoodie-shirt with my new black pumps, I walk into my moms room and there she is with the camera.

I should be used to this by now she did it last year too. I just moved to eagle mountain from Spanish fork and that was a huge change I'm going to this school called "frontier middle school" for 9th grade and I'm not excited.

I only know a few people who are going there from summer and I'm really scared I'm going to get bullied again. Anyway back to my previous thoughts,

"Say cheese!" my mom sarcastically grins to me and my little brother, "Cheese.." and the snap of the camera is when my horrible first day of school started.

I have been hit in the head now by a book that fell from my moms computer desk "Ow mom!" I yelp as I sit down and hold my head.

It was a cloudy day for a day in August in the state of Utah and I have a feeling it's going to rain but my mom doesn't listen "Take your brother to his bus stop, wait until he's on the bus, then go to yours." my mom is a little protective over my brother but then again he is only 8.

We start to walk up the street when it starts raining so I put my hood on while my brother is laughing and jumping in the little beginning puddles that the rain just started making. When his bus shows up he runs to get on first and he falls and hits his face on the stairs, I freak out and he just stands up laughs and gets on the bus.

"That kids crazy!" I think to myself as I start walking to my bus stop. That's when I see my friend Tj.

Now here's the story about Tj, I have known her since 3rd grade when we both lived in lehi and she was my best friend but then I moved to Spanish fork and she moved here so I never thought I would see her again, well I did!

We didn't talk because she had headphones in but whatever. The bus came and all the kids got on the bus, I got stuck sitting in the back with all the popular kids.

Everyone knows to avoid the popular kids on the first day, well I couldn't avoid them.

"Hey fatty your gonna break that seat if you sit there!" Yay the comments on my weight have already started just because they weigh like 80 pounds and I weigh 200. As usual I just ignored them, and looked out the window. This year is already going to suck.

As the bus comes to sudden stop to what looks like a prison, but is actually frontier middle school, I get nervous, like really nervous. I got off the bus and walked in. It was huge! I had no idea where to go or what to do. So I went straight to my A1 class which was foods.

I got assigned to sit next to four girls. Two were surprisingly very nice popular girls, their names were Lexi Baum and Emma Jones. Then there was a really shy girl named Taylor D'Albini and the other girl I never got to know because she left that class.

Usually I would be really quiet being new and all, but I really had no choice but to talk because of Lexi.

"Are you new here?!" Lexi asked really loud everyone turned and stared at me. I almost got up and left.

"Yes I am, I moved from Spanish fork over summer...." I feel like an embarrassment!

"Well that's cool..this is Emma and Taylor and I'm Lexi if you need any help I'm here."

"Thanks I think..."

Then I went back to being the awkward little shy girl.

The bell rang and I got up so fast I think I scared everyone but I don't care I just wanted to get out of there.

A2 was the most boring class ever, world geography, I mean the teacher put on a historical movie and told us to be quiet and watch it. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to draw, but I was wrong like always.

"Ericha hand over that notebook and get it after class" Mr. Wardle said with spit hitting my face. EW!

I gave it to him and watched the movie. When that bell rang I got up and went to his desk and grabbed it and left. This day could not end already...

Lunch was here..I always hated lunch at school because of my weight and now I had no friends to even sit with. Yay.

I went outside and walked around while everyone stared after me. I didn't care anymore. I went and sat in a corner by the fence and started drawing. That's when my summer friends came over to me.

Ashley Stone, she was a bitch that no one would mess with because she was though and scary. I don't know why but she was my best friend.

Baylee Witten, she was just a little small girl who was just another hoe at our school. I beat her up and that's how we became friends.

Chris Guest, he was 6 ft. tall and my ex boyfriend..things have been so weird between me and him since then.

"What are you doing over here you slut?" Ashley laughed as she joked around and grabbed my notebook and saw my drawings. She threw it over the fence.

"Hey why'd you do that?!" I yelled as Chris climbed the fence and got it for me. I knew he still liked me but he was too much like my brother.

The lunch bell rang and I ran to my 3rd period class, scared I was going to be late. I made it to Spanish on time and sat down.

Of course at least one class had this stupid "get to know eachother" games.

My turn finally came up and I stood up and said, "My name is Ericha and I moved here from Spanish fork." and then I sat down.

Now I usually don't pay attention to anybody's turn but this time I did. I saw him. I knew it right then that he was the one I was going to be crushing on for the whole year.

"Hi my name is Reiden D'Albini and I like to make people smile." as he looked at me and winked.

Oh shit here comes the butterflies..
