"i want to touch you," yongguk mumbled, his cheeks turning slightly pink as sanggyun's hand mimicked resting on the boy's thigh.
"trust me, baby, i want to just as much as you do."
yongguk thought he'd be scared. he thought it'd take at least three months before he could even think about accepting this... 'ghost' sanggyun.
but something scarier happened.
it took a total of two days before he had softened up to him and treated him with such sincerity.
yongguk skipped his sleep to keep his hyung away from the darkness, and he started to realise that he couldn't live without him. again.
-
"you're so pretty," sanggyun called out from the couch, yongguk blushing as he stood in front of the mirror and brushed off his clothes.
"stop it, hyung. i can't walk out red-faced," he mumbled, unable to hide the large smile growing on him. "anyway, i'm going to go attend my lecture. are you alright with staying at home, alone?"
sanggyun nodded with a happy smile, hovering over to yongguk and mimicking his hands brushing over his hair and jacket. "stay safe, don't get hurt."
the younger boy nodded assertively, waving as he walked over to the door and put his shoes on. "i'm leaving, bye!"
as yongguk sat in the middle of class, he found himself drooping off due to the lack of sleep over the last few days.
"psst," kenta, who sat next to him, called for him gently. "hey, you look horrible. are you alright?"
"fine, just sleepy," he barely muttered.
"why haven't you been answering my calls?" he frowned. "yongguk, anything been happening? you know you can tell me everything."
"yeah, yeah," he yawned, resting his hand over kenta's. "shut up. i'm trying to listen."
"sure," kenta rolled his eyes as yongguk leaned his head against the table, trying his hardest to tune in.
but his eyes drooped shut, and before he knew it, he flew into dreamland.
half an hour later, kenta nudged him, making him shoot up. "what, what?"
"did you have a good nap, sir?" he spoke sarcastically, shoving his books into his bag with a small smile. "lecture's over, moron. get up."
"ah," yongguk rubbed his eyes, sitting up and sighing. "ugh."
"wanna go eat?" the other boy asked, to which yongguk was about to oblige to, when something horrible suddenly came up in his mind.
he fell asleep... wouldn't that mean that sanggyun had to return to the dark pitless hole or whatever the fuck it was?
either way, yongguk didn't like the idea of his boyfriend stuck there.
"hyung!" he called out, kenta furrowing his eyebrows. "hey! don't-"
"hyung, hyung," yongguk thought of him as hard as possible, hoping he was home. "sorry, kenta, i can't do today. i have to go home."
kenta frowned, watching his friend run off through the doors without a proper explanation.
something was going on.
