The Dark Night

The moon made me want to weep,

Silver glistening rays that would sweep you off your feet.

Creeping creatures of the night,

Would fill you up with fright.

Fangs so ever sharp and bloody red,

Claws so daedly and already tainted,

Revenge so sweet and unknown,

All these evil seeds you have sown.

Here my pleas in the middle of the dark time

Nothing but horror and grime

Feel the pain and horror with what we call life

No more pleasures, but all strife.

Fear the demons that could eat your soul

Not the ones who'll kill only your body as a bloody goal,

But fear those who have the power to erase you

Like the sun drying the morning dew.

So endless, so horrible, so undefined

Should living like this in the night be called a crime?

The pain of being alive,

Claws me up inside.

The dark night so real, so unknown,

The endless night still here with the seeds of evil we have sown.

Come down and feel the cold, cold air

Give off by those who would wipe their bloody tears with their hair.
