001 (Mike Wheeler Stranger Things FF) *ON HOLD*

It was about 7 pm and everyone was getting tired. "Kaysie?" I heard. I looked over and saw Jane. "Yeah?" I asked. "Can we go back home now? I'm very tired" I nodded and tried to get up with out waking Rosie. "Max, you ready to go?" I asked. She nodded and got up with Leo still in her arms. Mike was lightly sleeping but when I got up he opened his eyes. "Is everything okay?" He asked. "Yeah, we're just going to head home. It's getting late and everyone is pretty tired" I said. He nodded and took Rosie from me so I could grab my bags. I grabbed my phone out of my purse and texted mom that we were going to leave. Shit, she has the baby seats.

I'll be there in a second. I told Hopper i'll be right back I just have to get the kids

I replied with an okay and put my phone back in my purse. I saw Max give Lucas a hug and Jane said goodbye to Dustin.  "I'll walk you guys out" Mike said as we all walked upstairs and said bye to Dustin and Lucas. I saw mom's car parked in front of Mike's house. Mickey took Rosie from Mike and Suzie took Leo from Max. "Can I go with mama?" Jane asked. I nodded and she went to mom's car. I'm guessing Mom already took Dawn with her when she went to Hopper since she wasn't with us. They took off and I unlocked the car for Mickey, Suzie, and Max to jump in. I looked back at Mike as he was awkwardly standing near me. "Thanks for tonight Mike" I said. He smiled at me. "No problem. I'm really glad you came. The night wouldn't be as good if you weren't here" 

I smiled at him and gave him a big hug. He hugged back and grabbed my face in his hands before gently kissing my lips. We soon disconnected and he said, "I'll talk to you later, okay?" I nodded before kissing his cheek and then saying our goodbyes before I left to the car. I put on the heat and the defroster after starting the car. Then we started on our way to Max's house after my window cleared up. 

I parked in front of her lawn. "Kaysie, can you come inside with me? I have something to show you" She said. "Yeah sure" We got out of the car and walked to her front door. She unlocked it and we walked into her room after yelling to her mom that she's home. "Close the door behind you, I have a surprise" She said once we got to her room. I closed the door and sat on the bed while she got a box from her closet. It was wrapped in reindeer wrapping paper. "Here" She said handing it to me. "Open it"

"Is this for me?" I asked. She nodded. "It's just something little. Ever since I met you I always thought of you like a sister I never had. I look up to you a lot and I really hope you like it. It is my thank you gift, from me to you" She smiled. I smiled and unwrapped it. I took the cover off and inside was a bracelet that said "Friends" on it with half a heart. "Oh my gosh Max I love it!!" I said. I ran up to her and hugged her. "You didn't have to get me anything! I feel bad now I didn't get anyone anything" 

"It's okay! I just wanted to do something nice for you. I can tell you'll be around for a while" She smiled. She went onto her desk and pulled something out of the draw. It's the same bracelet but it says "Best" with the other half of the heart. "Awe I love it!" I said. She laughed and we put ours on. "Now we will always be best friends" She laughed. I joined in on laughing and hugged her one more time. "Thank you so much Max" 

"You're welcome Kaysie. Here, I'll walk you out" She opened her bedroom door and standing there was Billy. "Oh look at that, new girl is back here again. Couldn't wait to see me could you?" He smirked. I pushed him out of the way and we walked to her front door. "I'll see you soon Max" I said before walking back to my car. She said goodbye when I got into my car and started on my way back home. "What's that bracelet?" Suzie asked. "Max got it for me. She has one the same. Together they say best friends and have two molds of a heart" She said awe and we soon pulled into our drive way. Hopper's car was still here. Why has he been here so long?

I shut off the car and walked inside with Mickey and Suzie following behind me. "There they are" Mom said when we walked in. Hopper and her were at the dinning room table with papers in front of them. Dawn and Jane were sitting in front of the computer playing some game and the babies were in the living room in the play pen. "Come, take a seat" Hopper said. We all sat at the table and Hopper started talking, 

"So, we were able to get the state of Massachusetts' help. Bloom and Roy are there. The state police in Massachusetts is going to help our town police in tracking down the vehicle and getting your family members back." He said. "But we came from Massachusetts! That's where the lab is! What is they're back in the lab?!?" Mickey panicked. "It's okay honey. Hopper has a set up that since we already have the changed last name, we will have no connection with the lab." Mom calmed Mickey down. "If they do happen to be in the lab though, we will need your help. You guys know every inch of that lab because you've been there before. So you will know where they could be"  Hopper told us.

We nodded and looked at the papers on the table. "What's that?" I asked. Hopper looked down. "Oh those are the papers we need you guys to fill out. One page is a form so the MA police will have a right to help us. Page two is a form that you guys need to fill out for school. So it will be okay for us to take you out of school and no punishment will be held against you or your record. Page three is that I need all your contact information. So if there is news or if something happens to Will, I will have all your contact information to help us out. Then finally page four is an invitation. It is not something we usually do. We actually have only done this about once for a family that was very needy. It is an invitation to New York City for New Years. You would be leaving here on Tuesday 28th and staying till Sunday the 2nd in New York City for the New Years ball drop." 

We all looked at each other. "That sounds insane. But what would we even be able to do with just all of us?" Suzie asked. "Well, it wouldn't be just you. We get up to 20 tickets for the needy family. With that, they go to a hotel and you guys have a full floor to yourself. The floor consists of about 10 rooms so if you really want to then you could pair two person per room. Oh, and don't worry. It's dog friendly so you can take your pups" He said looking at Diamond that was laying on his lap. "So how would you think we would know 20 people to bring with us?" Mom asked.

"Well, I figured you could relieve some stress from your friends. So if you guys wanted to bring your friend's families. You know, the Wheeler's, the Buyers, then you could bring Max, Dustin, and Lucas along with you guys. Right there would be all 8 of you, then Mike and Nancy, the Johnathan and Will, then Lucas, Dustin, then Max. That's 15. Then if you really want to, you could bring Steve because he's really friendly with Dustin and stuff, then you could bring Will's mom so she can relax. That would be 17. Then if you want, you could bring the fathers, that would be 19. Then you'd have one free ticket. But that's just who I think. I'm not saying that's who you have to bring" 

We all nodded. "Thank you so much" Mom cried. "Why have you been so nice to us?" I asked. "Because last year around this time Will went missing. I had to go through the same issues with him as I am with your siblings. I felt like if I changed something from what I did before maybe it will work better" I nodded and got out of my seat to hug him. "Thank you" I said in the hug. He hugged back and laughed. "You're welcome" 

"So if you guys could fill all of that out then I will be on my way and talk to you again Sunday when I get back to work" He said. Mom filled out all the papers and we all signed. She handed them to him and he thanked her. "Enjoy your holiday ladies" He said getting us. He put on his jacket and went to the door. "Goodbye El" He called. Jane ran up to him and hugged him quick before running back the Dawn. We all laughed and he headed on his way back to his car and was soon on his way back home. I guess I'll tell everyone about the trip tomorrow, since they could probably be sleeping right now.
