It is very late at night one week before vacation and I'm starting to get excited. But as I'm making my way to my room I here "Ding, Ding" and I didn't think to much about it until my mom said " Elizabeth come here for a minute. I need to talk to you." And oh my god that scared the crap out of me. But sill I yelled back " Coming Mom!" So I walked slowly out of my room and into the kitchen and she told me to sitdown. So I did and thought it much about it but then she said "Elizabeth, Isaac is in the hospital and can't go on vacation." I felt bad but that's when it hit me like a slap in the face, I was the only girl going. I said to my mom "Oh my, that is so sad." Then I went to my room and the second I sat down I texted my best friend Mackenzie.
