Chapter 16

JAMIES POV:

*1 week later*

It has been one week since that incident at the party. Hayes, Shawn, and Will all have been released from the hospital. I haven't seen any of them in a week, because both Hayes and Will have football tryouts for the week, and Shawn has been working on a new song. My family still isn't home. I only saw Karli once, and because she came to pick her bathing suit up from the house. It has been really lonely. But I did meet a new friend. Her name is Chloe. We met at Starbucks. She just moved to North Carolina too. She came from New York. I'll see if she wants to go get ice cream with me.

Jamie - Hey Chlo, wanna go get ice cream?

Chloe - Sure, meet you in 10?

Jamie - Yup, see ya their.

I was all ready so I just through on some flip flops. Yes, I have had to walk everywhere I go since I can't drive. I even have to walk to the grocery store. I walked into the garage, and grabbed my penny board. I opened the garage door, then walked out. I typed the number 7629 into the key pad for the garage door to shut. I set my penny board down and began to ride down to the ice cream shop.

I finally made it their and Chloe was already their sitting at a table.

"Hey Chlo." I said as walked up to the medium height blonde.

"Hey Jamie." She said with a smile.

I looked up and saw a football team, with a few cheerleaders. One turned around and it was Hayes. He smiled at me. I smiled back. Hayes, was sitting next to a medium talk blonde that was pretty, but not as pretty as Chloe. Me and Chloe got our ice cream, and sat back down at the table.

"Hey Jamie! Come over here and sit with us!" Hayes said sorta yelling.

I nodded my head, and grabbed my penny board in my left, with my ice cream in my right. Chloe followed me.

We came up to about 35, 13-15 year old guys. And about 10 cheerleaders.

"Hey Jamie, sit right here." Hayes patted the seat next to him.

I sat down as, Chloe sat across from me, next to this kid named Mike I think. Hayes, was on my right. I looked to the left of

me and saw Will smiling at me.

"Hey Will." I said while returning to eat my ice cream.

"Hey J." For some reason Will always call me that. I don't know why. Haha.

Chloe and the Mike kid were flirting away over their. They would make a really cute couple too.

"Okay guys, I would just like to congrats to you guys for making the team." I think it was the coach who said that.

I heard a lot of cheering, and people were bro hugging, I guess you could call it that.

"Hayes baby." I heard the cheerleader next to Hayes say that.

"What Madi?" Hayes said somewhat snapping.

"I loveeeee youuuuu." Madi said.

"Madi, you know I don't like you, besides I have a girlfriend." Hayes said.

That hurt. Hayes had a girlfriend. He didn't even tell me. Maybe we aren't as close as I thought we were.

"Oh yea, and who's that"? Madi said somewhat smirking.

"Jamie." Hayes said grabbing my hand and kissing my cheek.

I know Hayes was lying, but I sorta like this. Is that werid?

"Oh, well she's gorgeous, I wouldn't blame you. " Madi said, somewhat putting her head down.

"She is gorgeous isn't she?" Hayes said.
