Jane crept throught the abandon house, Her machetes held tightly in her hands. She had a feeling like someone was watching her. She found a couch that she could use as her bed for the night, scince it was going to rain out, and she needed a place to stay. She sat down on the couch, looking at her machetes. A bit of blood covered the blades from her latest killings. She chuckled slightly, setting the blades beside her. Suddenly, a small creek echoed from the back of the house. Jane grabbed her machetes and stood up. "Whoever you are, show yourself!" Slowly, Jane started to move towards the back of the house, her machetes held in front of her, ready to lash out. She opened the door that lead to the back of the house. Nothing was in there. Another creek sounded from upstairs. Jane walked towards the stairs that lead to the sounds that were reverberating from upstairs.

She walked up the steps, making no sound at all. She stared at the only door that was in front of her, and moved towards it. Her hand gently touched the door knob, one of her machetes at ready, and quickly opened it. "THOUGHT YOU COULD HIDE FROM M-" Jane froze, a look of fear covered her face. In front of her, stood a tall, pale man. He had no eyes, no ears, no nose, and no mouth. He was faceless. He wore a formal black suit with a red tie. Even though he had no eyes, she knew that he was watching her. Jane felt a wave of paranoia wash over her. The man tilted his head to the left, saying something that sounded like static from a television. Jane didn't understand what he had said. Jane walked closer to him. "Who....Who are you?" Jane asked, looking up at him. The man spoke with the same static voice. "A-ANSWER ME!" Jane said, lashing out at him. Long tendrils extended from his back, grabbing her. Jane was hurled at a nearby wall, landing with a thud. Jane slowly stood up, shaking. She looked at the man, who spoke again with that static voice. She thought about a way to kill the man. She remembered something that could help her. She reached into one of her pockets, and pulled out a box of matches. She watched the man for a few seconds, then started to light a match. Once the match was lit, she threw it at the man. It landed on the floor in front of the man. The floor started to burn, staring a fire. She threw several more at the man and ran out of the house.

She looked around the house quickly. She needed one thing to get the fire going. She saw what she needed. A container of gasoline. She grabbed it, and ran back into the house and up the stairs, and back into the room. She threw it at the small fire, and bolted out of the house. She turned back to watch the house burn and fall to the ground. Jane laughed and spoke, "You thought you could beat me?! You didn't even try!" Jane smiled and watched the rest of what remained of the house burn. Jane turned around and started to walk away, but stopped. There, in front of her, was the same man from the house. He didn't even look hurt. Jane backed up and tripped on her feet, falling to the ground "T-That...That isn't possible! H-How...How?!" The man walked towards her. Jane stood up and grabbed one of her machetes and ran at the man. She stabbed the man in the chest, where his heart would be. She looked up at the man, expecting a pained moan to come out of his faceless head. To her horror, he didn't even look phased. One of the tendrils extended from his back and shot through her chest. Jane gagged, looking down at the tendril that moved out of her chest. Jane fell to the ground, bleeding to death. The man walked off towards several bushes. Another man popped his head out of the bush. Even though Jane's vision blurred, She knew who the other man was. He had long, greasy black hair, and wore a white hoodie and black dress pants. He had pale skin, like the other man. He bore a smile that spread across his face, and eyes that were ringed in black. It was Jeff. "Nice job, Slenderman!" Jeff said, moving out of the bush. The man looked down at Jeff and spoke with that static voice. Unlike Jane, Jeff understood the man, and responded with a happy tone, "Yeah, I know! She's so weak! I couldn't get near her, though..." Jeff hung his head slightly. The man extended one of his long arms and rubbed Jeff's head. Jeff giggled and looked back up at the man. "Thanks again for doing that, Slenderman. Let's get out of here before the cops come!" Jeff and the man walked into the woods, vanishing into the night. Jane's heart stopped beating, just as police cars appeared on the horizon.
