"STELLA WHY DID YOU HAVE TO PICK SUCH A DAMN LOUD ALARM?!" I scream through the wall shoving a pillow into my face.
"SORRY!" She screams back, a few seconds later the obnoxious buzzing goes off. I stretch and get up, yawning. I plug my iPod into the iHome on my beside table, and dance around as I pick out an outfit for the day. I pick out white skinny jeans, a green and blue flannel, and black high top converse. I reach over to where my phone is changing and unplug it. I smile as I find 2 texts from Michael.
"Are you ready? It's like 12 you lil poop get up!
-Michael"
"GET UP LAZY I WANNA HAVE FUN!
-Michael"
I text him back and told him my address so he can come pick me up. 10 minutes later I hear a knocking at my door and open it, to revile Michael with a lopsided smile across his face.
"So what is this mystery place you are taking me to, Clifford?" I ask as we get in his car.
"It's a surprise! You'll have to wait and see." He grins.
"Oh, you're one of those cliche guys, huh?"
"Cliche? Michael Clifford is not a cliche man, not in the least bit at all!" He says a pretend shock in his voice.
"Whatever you say. I laugh and roll my eyes dramatically. He turns on the radio and we jam out to some All Time Low until we get there. He pulls into the parking lot to revile a sign that reads
"Dan and James Go-Carts"
"You do know I will kick your butt right?" I say to Michael.
"Mmm yeah I'm so intimidated by the 5 foot girl."
"5'1 to be exact." I correct him.
"Yeah whatever." He laughs. We walk up to the counter and he pays for both of us even though I wanted to pay for myself, he insisted.
We walk to where the go-carts are and Michael gets into a purple cart, and I right beside him in a blue one.
"Hahaha purple cart? A pretty color for a pretty boy!" I tease.
"You can make fun of me all you want. Just know that I'll win." He grins mischievously. I take my attention off him and the man in front of us signals that we can go. I push on the gas as much as I can, earning me a head start. "Hey no floaring it!" Michael yells over the roaring of the engine.
"This isn't Spongebob!" I yell back to him, fixing my eyes on the track in front of me. I stay in the lead for the next three laps, and almost the forth until Michael comes up and bumps into me, causing me to brake and him winning. We get out of the carts laughing and make our way back to his car.
"No fair! On the rules they even said no bumping."
"Guess I'm just a rebel then." He replies cheekily.
"No, you're a rule breaker!" I laugh as we get into his car.
"Okay where to now?" I question.
"Let's get something to eat. I'm really hungry from kicking your ass."
"Stop it!" I laugh and playfully punch his arm. We end up going to this really gourmet restaurant called McDonalds. Michael ended up paying for my high class chicken nuggets again.
"This is a date the gentleman is suppose to pay." He'd said. After we were over with our meal, I suggested the park by my house.
"MICHAEL!" I yell stepping out of the car and running to the swings.
"What?" He questions chasing after me.
"Can you push me? Pleaseeee?" I give him puppy dog eyes.
"Oh, okay." He gives in. He pushes me up high and I pump my legs, giving him an advantage. After I get tired of swinging, he stops me and we go sit under a tree.
"Ahh shade." I sigh sitting criss cross in front of Michael as he's leaning back on the bark.
"It's pretty peaceful here isn't it?" He asks me.
"Yeah I like to come here alone sometimes and think." I tell him. He stares at me a second then smiles.
"What?" I giggle.
"Nothing, just I really like you Hanna." He mumbles with his head down.
I look at him wide eyed "Really?" I ask surprised.
"Yeah, your just bubbly and witty and beautiful and everything I could ask for." He confesses flushing.
"Wow, Michael I-I don't know what to say."
"I know it's stupid and you probably don't like me back I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that." He rambles.
"No no no." I shake my head. "I.. I like you too Michael." I say blushing. He lifts up his head with a smile.
"Really?" He asks.
"Really."
"Hanna Dyer," he stands up and I also. "Will you do me, Michael Clifford the honor of being my lovely girlfriend?" He asks hopefully.
"Of course!" I giggle jumping into his arms. We go back to his car and he drives me home. He walks me to the door.
"I had a great time Hanna." He smiles.
"I did too." I agree.
"See you tomorrow!" He smiles walking to his car.
"Okay, goodbye." I say. I open the door to find Stella on the couch watching shark week, a cup of lemonade in her hands.
"How'd it go?" She questions, pausing her show.
"Let's just say I left single and came back taken." I smile.
"HE ASKED YOU TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND?" She squeals.
"Yeah he did." I giggle embarrassed.
"Congratulations!" She smiles and gets up to hug me. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to continue watching this because they are talking about megladon." She laughs sitting back down. I join her having nothing better to do.
"Congrats girl, you got a boy." My subconscious tells me.
"Thanks." I say aloud, a wide smile spreading on to my face.
