10 summers ago, someone unexpected saved my life.
Every joint and muscle hurt. The soft sand had suddenly turned rock hard. I slowly opened my eyes. The storm was long gone, but it left many traces behind. I sat up, confused. Last I remembered, I was about to be smashed against the rocks. But there were no rocks on the shore of this island. I shook my head. That did not matter right now. I had to get some food first. I started to get up, but I saw something out of the corner of my eye and froze. I turned to look at it. It was an enormous Skrill, bigger than the ddrawing in my books said. "A titanwing," I whisper. It was looking right at me, but for some reason, not attacking. It started to approach me and I was frozen in terror. It was now close enough that I could feel the electricity around it. I closed my eyes. After what seemed like hours I opened them again. The Skrill was still there, sunning itself lazily. By my feet were two somewhat sandy fish. "Did... Did you bring these?" I ask the sleeping dragon. As if in response, the dragon lifted its head and looked at me. It started to get up and it wasn't until that point that I realized: it was injured. As the dragon walked away, it paused and looked at me, as if expecting me to follow. So that's just what I did. We walked fo a while, and I couldn't stop thinking about the dragon's injury. How did it get hurt? Is it fatal? I was so preoccupied that I did not notice where we stopped. The Skrill grumbled as I bumped into it. I looked around my feet in astonishment. I was standing in a Skrill nest! Even the bravest explorers in my clan had never found a nest. There were three impressions in the ground, but only one egg. I was confused, why would a Skrill take me to it's nest?

Hi! Its me! So... A few people may have been confused about the timeline between chapters. Basically the first chapter was in the past, the second in the present, third in past, and so on. This will continue until the past catches up to the present( I hope ) . So ... Yup... Hope this clears things up :)
