I had just made it into the host club, surprised to find the music room to be swarming with girls.

I stood in the entrance for a while to observe the guys in their natural habitat.

Tatum was with one girl. The rest were sitting on a couch waiting their turns. The girl had long brown hair and wore the boring school uniform, a red pair of glasses sitting on her nose.

Tatum scooped a finger under her chin and brought her face close to his, but made sure not to touch her. His lips set in a great smile, "I would do anything to see your face light up like this all the time." He mused, drawing her face even closer.

I turned my attention to the twins who sat in the middle of a circle of girls. They faced each other smiling and mimicking each other as the girls laughed and clapped. Until Haden accidentally hit Kris in the jaw. It seemed pretty hard by the way Kris jerked his head back.

"Oh my god!" Haden yelled, springing over to his brother that had nearly fallen off his seat. "Are you okay, in so sorry!"

"Relax, Haden." He said with a soft laugh, looking up into his brothers eyes. "It was an accident."

"I thought I really hurt you..." Haden's voice was soft as he leaned his forehead to Krises and closed his eyes.

I turned to see honey sitting at a table with three girls, and then another with her arm around Tanners gawking up at him.

Honey sat with cake on his lap, kicking his feet happily as he laughed at what one of the girls were saying.

"We should all go to the beach!" Honey yelled, throwing his hands in the air.

"Yeah." Tanner said quietly, pulling his arm free and resting it over the top of his head as he leaned back in the seat.

"Hadlie." Kato called to me, beaconing me with his finger.

I went over to him and clasped my hands together behind my back. "What's up, Kato?"

"Your crowd has been waiting." Me pointed over at a couch that sat five girls who were laughing and talking amongst each other.

"They're waiting for me?" I asked, looking down at him. I knew I had a few visitors the other day, but I didn't think they would be permanent.

"Yes, now go." He muttered, swatting me away with his hand and turning back to his computer.

I approached the girls, "hello ladies."

"Oh Hadlie!"

"You're finally here!"

"Sit next to me!" A girl pulled me down on the couch. I smiled at them.

"In glad you guys came to see me today! Definitely made my day much better."

"Tell us about yourself." One girl said.

"Yeah we don't know much about you." Another girl agreed

"I'm a freshman here on scholar." I said blandly. "Not much more to tell."

"Do you have a girlfriend?" One of the quieter girls said, looking up at me shyly.

I smiled and chuckled a bit, how ironic. "No, no I don't. No woman could hold me down." I said laughing to myself. "Of course, unless it was one of you ladies."

The girl that pulled me down swooned and laid her head on my shoulder.

"Why did you join the host club?" one of the girls asked.

I thought about telling her the truth at first, but I knew that would be bad for business. So I smiled, "because I took it as a chance to meet people and do something new. I made a bunch of new friends, and I even get to see your beautiful faces every day. What more could I ask for!" I laughed as a few of the girls blushed.

"Hadlie." Haden muttered from behind me.

"Huh?" I turned to see Haden in a white tshirts with the selves pulled off, with a pair of dark fitted blue jeans on, his red hair slicked back, but pointed into a Mohawk in the middle. My heart stopped as I gawked at him. For some reason he messed with my head. Even his brother, the one who looks exactly like him, couldn't do this to me.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" He leaned down and set his hands on my shoulders, "sorry ladies. I might just recruit this one." I couldn't help it when my face burnt red at his touch.

"Sure thing." I said quietly as I moved from his grip. I smiled to the girls who looked a bit sad. "Don't worry girls," I perked up. "I'll be right back. No way could I leave you for him." I laughed and followed Haden out into the hall.

"What's up?" I asked, leaning against the wall.

"Looks like you've grown quite a crowd." He peered in through the window on the door. "Kato says there will be more tomorrow."

I sighed. "This is draining, I don't know how you guys can do it."

"We love it." He said simply. "And it benefits our bosses." He shrugged and looked down at me. "You don't like hitting on girls all day?"

I scowled, "I'm not a lesbian." His brows raised a little bit.

"Then what's with the short hair?" He leaned his head against the window. "And the clothes."

"I can't wear a dress if in impersonating a man!" I whispered harshly so people couldn't hear. "And my hair used to be long." I ran my hand through it subconsciously. "I got gum in it and had to cut it."

"So then you're doing this for no gain?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"Then why are you still here? Why don't you leave?" His voice was harsh. "It's not like we need you anyway."

It might have hurt, but I knew he didn't mean it. He was just being defensive, like I was warned about. I knew how it was growing up alone, but at least he had his brother.

"I broke a vase." I muttered after a minute of silence. "I'm paying a debt." I looked up at him and met his eyes. "If you want me gone, you will have to try a hell of a lot harder then that, Haden."

His eyes widened, his mouth parted slightly. "Wha-"

"I have girls I need to keep busy." I cut him off and grabbed the door Handel. "Thanks for the talk." I mumbled as I walked by him, slightly slamming the door behind me.

I was welcomed graciously back to my group of girls, but I couldn't keep my mind off Haden.

I kept glancing over at him to find his face solemn and sad, or angry. It hurt to see him like that, as if he were beating himself up over something.

He noticed I was staring at him and met my glance. But I quickly looked away and slumped down into the couch.

The rest of the time was spent with the girls telling me about themselves and us getting better acquainted.

And if you asked me what one of their names were, I could tell you exactly the way Haden looked at me as she said it. But for the lift of me, I couldn't remember their names.
